"The gite was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Jacques SORBIER and his wife, the hosts, were very hospitable and greeted us on our arrival. We managed to communicate via email, despite our basic level of French. The gite is in a lovely rural location with far reaching views of the countryside, but is well located to explore the surrounding villages of the Dordogne. The picturesque village of Saint Alvere is only 5 mins drive and the larger town of Bugue, with a supermarket, is only 15...

"Excellent séjour. Les hôtes sont discrets et efficaces. La qualité de l’eau de la piscine est vérifiée régulièrement pendant notre séjour. La maison est fraîche en été.La climatisation est un plus en cas de canicule. Idéal pour jeune enfant : Jeux d’extérieur à leur disposition , espace, baignade. "We had the perfect relaxing week. The property is exactly as described and Sarah and Nic were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed with three children aged between 14 to 5 with the aim to relax from our busy work/school lives and maximise family time. The property was perfect - we prepared and ate every meal outside (having bought fresh bread in mornings from walking distance village) and the pool was perfect for playing and keeping cool. "Gorgeous property. All the charm of a French house with clean & modern facilities. Pool was perfect with the most stunning views. Supermarket a short drive and bakery across the road (although sadly closed for our stay). Extremely friendly & helpful hosts. Can't recommend highly enough! "
