Pau is located in the northeast of Spain, in Catalonia, about 5 km from Roses and 7 km from the nearest beach. In the municipality of Pau you will find olive cultivation and wine production. The grapes and olives are processed in the local cooperative "Empordàlia". The wine comes under the Denomination of Origin Empordà Costa Brava and the brand name "Sinols" in the trade.
