"Location is phenomenal- beautiful views of the sea and temple of Poseidon from the resort grounds. We stayed in a triple apartment and it was spacious and clean. They give you extras like toothbrush kids and slippers with out asking. Breakfast included with your stay, highest we left too early to enjoy that. Overall it’s a great property and good prices. Not a fancy hotel, but everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice little place overall. ...

"This is one of the hard choices in life: should I give this place the raving review it deserves, or should I keep my mouth shut so I keep this jewel to myself? I stayed here twice during the last week. Excellent service, staff are kind, proactive, attentive, breakfast is excellent, the room, bathroom and public spaces are well designed, cosy and clean. "Vi tilbragte kun en nat forud for vores flyvetur hjem fra Athen. Hotellet ligger kun 20 minutters kørsel fra lufthavnen og egner sig fint som lufthavnshotel, hvis man er i bil. Men beliggenheden byder også på feriestemning i første række til havet med et udvalg af restauranter og smuk natur lige ved hånden. Personalet var søde og imødekommende og sørgede for ekstra tidlig morgenmad , så vi kunne nå at spise, inden vores tidlige afrejse. Kunne godt være blevet et par dage ekstra."

"This was a great place to stop overnight before our flight from Athens to the US. The owner was very flexible with our check-in time, he arranged for food to be delivered from a local restaurant and even arranged our taxi at 4:00 a.m. to the airport. The 4:00 a.m. taxi was a little pricey considering the hour of day so it was €40 for a 10-minute ride, but it was still a convenient stay and I would recommend it."

"We visited Cape Sounio Grecotel Resort in October with our three children (2, 6, and 10) and had a fantastic stay. Check-in was warm and efficient, and the staff gave a clear introduction to the resort, the Grecotel app, and the WhatsApp service, which worked flawlessly. We were generously upgraded from a family apartment to a beautiful villa in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The welcome amenities — flowers, cake, sparkling wine, smoothies, and chocolates — made the experience truly special. The villa was spacious, elegant, spotless, and featured two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a heated private pool, a large terrace, and breathtaking views of the bay and the Temple of Poseidon. We loved watching the sunrise and using the outdoor showers. With young children, we mainly ate at the buffet restaurant, which was excellent with a wide variety of Greek and international dishes. Sitting outside with views of the temple was a highlight. Room service was also delicious and generous. The beach, set in a sheltered cove, was perfect even in October, with calm and warm water ideal for the kids. We used the concierge twice — for a visit to the Temple of Poseidon and for transport to Athens — and both arrangements were handled perfectly. The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, contributing greatly to the memorable atmosphere. "I travel the world with more than 100 hotel stays every year, so I know the difference between average, good, and truly exceptional. I don’t hand out praise easily — but this hotel deserves it. This stay was outstanding. Everything was at a level 10, even if the official rating only allows 5. From start to finish, it was flawless. Staff: every single person I met — from reception to housekeeping, from kitchen to bar — was not only professional but genuinely kind and welcoming. That’s rare, and it makes the difference. Housekeeping: the rooms were spotless, clearly cared for with pride. Food & drinks: quality, presentation, and taste — top class. Night shift: even at 03:00, I was greeted with a smile and felt completely at home. That says everything about the culture here. To the hotel owner and management: you clearly lead by example, because every team member carried the same spirit of service. To the staff: thank you — you made this stay one of the best I’ve had, anywhere in the world. Will I come back? Absolutely. Will I recommend it to everyone I meet along the way? Without hesitation. Should others book it? If you want to experience true hospitality, yes — this is the place. "
