"Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened)."

The room was very clean, everything you needed was there plenty of tea and coffee on the plus side there was a mini fridge, king size bed all the toiletry you need.. the shower was a good size big shower head, made a real change not to have white towels we had a light grey made a huge difference.. Comfortable bed and pillows (we snoozed our alarm!) Super soft towels. Tea and coffee great and nice touch with a bottle of cold water and Breakfast tray. 100% recommend and would definitely stay again!! Thank you!"

"This is a fantsstic property. Plenty of communication before-hand. Music plays to welcome you (as it's a self-check in), the place is very clean and everything you need is included.
It is a shame that no-one is there to provide breakfast & that you have a continental breakfast tray instead but we would certainly recommend The Highcliffe."
