"A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."

"We enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. We did the stargazing with Kasun. We saw the moon and Saturn and enjoyed the view and the discussion with Kasun. Glad we did this activity!
We also went on a nature walk with Gayan Gamage on the 16th of october 2024, and it was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and knew a lot about the nature and the tracking of the animals. It was very interesting, and we saw a lot of the local animals. We hightly recommend this to anyone who likes the nature...

"This is an amazing hotel, everything is very special. Rooms are clean and spacious and with lovely views and lots of natural light.
The facilities such as the pool and the spa are fantastic.
The restaurant really yummy and lovely atmosphere.
The staff members are extraordinary.
Our son doesn’t want to go anywhere else 😂.

"Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute!
Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety!
Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging."

"Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité.
Safari trés cher.
J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre.
Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout.
Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre.

"From the moment we arrived, the owners were so kind and helpful, even organising a full-day safari with an amazing guide where we spotted three leopards and so much more.
The rooms were spotless, honestly the cleanest we saw in our whole month in Sri Lanka, and could easily match a high-end hotel in Europe or the US. The location is perfect, right next to the entrance to Yala National Park, so you get peace and nature all around. We even saw a chameleon in the garden!

Gayan was friendly and easy to talk to and we had a great time! He was also very good at involving the children and our daughter loved him and wanted a picture taken with him after the tour :)"
