"This was our favourite hotel of our whole Patagonia trip. We booked a premium room with mountain view which - the photos do not do justice to how nice the rooms are. Lovely large layout with beautiful views over the town and mountains. Attentive staff and just a lovely wxperyall round. Breakfast was amazing and they can make lunches for you too. We had one complimentary evening meal which was delicious. Great location with views and we could walk straight onto the trails from the hotel. "

"We loved staying in the cabin. It has a full kitchen, s lovely place to eat with a view to the mountains and a good bed upstairs. The staff is really nice and helpful, and the location is great for the diffenrent trekking routes. We also really liked, that they brought the breakfast for next morning when houskeeping, so we could eat whenever we wanted."

"From outside the hotel looks all fine, but our room was tiny and had not been properly cleaned at all. The beds were 2 single beds that had been pushed together with a mattress on top, which wasn’t ideal as they were not the same height. Our towels also had small stains on them. Chalten is expensive, but I would imagine that you could find hostels or other options in the city at a better value."

"The hotel is a very good location. You'll find many good restaurants that you can walk to around 5-10 minutes, supermarkets, clothing and trekking gear shops, and souvenir stores. The staff were very nice and helpful. You also can start trekking near the hotel. I think it was a wonderful and comfortable stay for trekking visitors."
