This is such a cute place—very much reminiscent of true Bahamas. They have a great restaurant called Violas that has well-priced and delicious food items. The staff are all very friendly. Only one thing I would change—I landed and by the time I got my rental car and luggage, the front office was closed and I hadn’t received any check in codes or anything, so I got stressed. I couldn’t reach anyone the entire drive from the airport to the hotel. Thankfully, they had an amazing guard named Hendrix who had our key and check in information on-site waiting for us. I would say maybe have a phone line for him as a backup so folks know when they are on the way there will be a key waiting for them. Other than that it was amazing. The unit we stayed in was a little dated but overall very comfortable and well priced. It’s hard to stay in Paradise Island for less than $500 per night. I believe ours was $200something for a nice condo townhouse unit. Folks should know though that in those units which overlook the pool that the bed is on the top floor so if they have issues with stairs they should choose a different type of unit. My husband and I were fine with them. The bed was really comfy with a memory foam mattress pad on top of the mattress. I also loved that there was a bath and a half—and one more amazing thing which is hard to find these days is the unit has a bathtub.

Nay Nay the manager was very helpful, the staff was super nice. We had the one bedroom condo with a beautiful view of the pool on the balcony. The condo was extremely clean, didn't see not even one bug! Quite and peaceful property.The beach was clean, water was soo blue.As for Viola's the restaurant, the food was ok and the service was extremely slow! We waited almost 30 min to get our drinks and 2 hours for the food! This was our first day but they got a little faster during the week, not much though very disappointed considering the great reviews I saw. They automatically add 25% gratuity to your check so don't bother with a tip. Overall I would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful Beacfront Resort

This is a very dated resort with a few cracks here and there, a chip in the paint in a spot or two, but it was AWESOME! Any little cosmetic flaws just added to the Character of the resort. The property was BEAUTIFUL, exceptionally clean and the people there were soooo nice! Miss Claudette and the whole crew there, were so kind and accomodating. They work hard to keep the resort so beautiful. Our condo had absolutely everything we needed for our 10 day stay and was super comfortable! Our only complaint was that on the third night the air conditioner fan or compressor started making an awful rattling, rumbly sound which kept us awake. We finally did adjust slightly to the noise but it was a little unnerving. . If it was not for that, this would have gotten 5 star. But we still would love to come back, once the compressor is fuxed!that noise,

Beautiful Villa

The villa was as quaint and beautiful as the pictures suggest! The grounds are well-kept and the trees and plants surrounding the pool area makes for an amazingly peaceful setting. The ocean out back is stunningly beautiful.

We liked the property. It is quite and peaceful and close to ocean. The staff at Violias restaurant was nice and the and food was reasonably priced. The only disappointment is the carpeting in our room was dirty and worn out.

Great Place to Relax.

My villa was steps from the pool and only two minutes to the ocean. A perfect place to get recharged with the comforts of a home kitchen in the villa or a few steps to Viola’s restaurant. Service is on island time at the restaurant so relax and dont be rushed. Everyone on the property was gracious and helpful. I would recommend this place to my friends and will definitely be back whenever I’m on Paradise Island.

Paradise Island is the best touristy area at the Bahamas, especially the beach side of the Atlantis. The Sunrise Beach Villas are located right there, you can enjoy the wonderful white sandy beach and the ocean. It’s just 20-30 minutes walk on the beach or on the street to get to the Atlantis casino, otherwise the hotel doesn’t accept visitors before about 6pm without admission fees and the valet parking at Atlantis is $20. Sunrise Beach Villas is a better choice, in a townhouse like apartment, with walk out front yard outdoor chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy coffee there, and the pool to cool off in between ocean visits. The timeshare hotel office management is open usually from 8 am to 7 pm and it rents out properties directly as well. The managed properties have towels, soap, shampoo, lotion and complete kitchen with fridge, coffee maker and coffee, tea provided, we could cook, but everything in the convenience stores 2-3 times the price of the US prices. You can order food items online with $10 delivery fees or there’s a Village Market in walking distance. The food bar at the Sunrise Beach Villas has mostly fried meals and beverages. Friday was a very loud and long karaoke night but we enjoyed listening it untul midnight. Other days the music was not that bothersome. The apartment inside is outdated and everything is overly used. The pull out sofa is bumpy, not comfortable for overnight sleeping. Parking is free. No safety concerns in that area.

Great location -- Interiors could use a refresh

The property is located on Paradise Island and has good beach access. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is in great shape. Units have an exterior patio. The interiors appear to be1980's vintage with steel circular staircases to the next floor. There is a restaurant onsite but I don't believe it is owned or managed by Sunrise Beach. The food is ok but the service was slow, even by local standards. The furniture is utilitarian -- but all was in pretty good shape. This is not a "luxury" place to stay, but is it could work for families on a budget.

Lovely Spot

Nice quiet spot on Paradise Island. Loved being near the private beach access and next to the pool. Front office lady was very helpful and her cabbie referral was the best. Thanks for a great stay!

That location was nice especially if you don't have a car people were friendly staff was very helpful my units could have used new carpeting the grounds needs to be updated. Overall my wife and I were happy with the unions and the location.

Loved it here

Nice Villa, great location, no frills

The Sunrise villas were exactly what we were looking for close to Atlantis and right on beautiful Cabbage beach. The one bedroom villa was not really conducive to 4 adults as advertised so we were able to upgrade to a 2 bedroom. The property is nice, well maintained and clean. The unit we rented had some issues with clogged toilets and the washer didnt work. Maintenance came and fixed the toilets right away and the cleaning lady, Fran, was exceptional and very kind. The villa is spacious and homey with everything you would need. It met our needs. The grocery store is on the main island so be prepared for an expensive cab ride. The other negatives were there are no beach chairs so you have to rent them daily. Also the pools are not heated and were freezing during our stay so we didnt use them. No hot tubs either. The restaurant on site is decent for basic needs and the drinks were good, but be prepared to wait a long time for food, service was extremely slow. We enjoyed our stay overall but did have some issues with rude front desk staff on more than one occasssion. Fortunately the other staff made up for those few. Youll find the housekeepers and grounds people to be very kind and helpful. The night security guard went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and to give us advice and guidance on all things around the island. The beach is extraordinary and if you walk to the end of the cove its a great place to snorkle and collect shells. Overall a good place for the $

First time here. Compared to other island destinations it is above average location. Below average condition of property. Overall stay was pleasant. Dont expect the Atlantis, but better than a Holiday Inn.

Terrific, romantic secret spot

I said I wouldn't give this a review because I don't want anyone else staying there… But it's just not fair… Fantastic… 20 feet away from a pool, and a two-minute walk to the most beautiful water you will ever see… The place at first seems a little dated, and it is but get past it because it is a fantastic day… My partner said it was like sleeping on a cloud… we will definitely be back.

Very nice and clean property as well helpful staff. The one bedroom condo I stayed in was basic, but provided everything I needed at a reasonable cost. I would stay here again.
