Looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle while still being close to all that Panama City Beach has to offer? Look no further than this beachfront condo just steps from the gulf! We’re located in West Panama City Beach where the beach remains untouched. Come prepared to make wonderful memories! Bring your toothbrush and clothes and we’ll do the rest – vacation: simplified!

Whether you’re in the living room or kitchen or relaxing on the balcony, you can’t help but get smell the salt air from lost the Gulf of Mexico! Our comfortable furnishings and our newly updated interior pair perfectly to create a quiet, cozy beach retreat for you and your family.

The property is within a short drive of excellent restaurants, shopping establishments and grocery stores. If you need a break from fun in the sun and white sand, Gulf World Marine Park, Panama City Beach Winery, and Shipwreck Island Waterpark are all within minutes of our front door.

We’re here to help answer any questions you may have – from planning your trip through the end of your vacation. We knew that Wendwood HI was special the first time we visited – and when we came across this property, we knew we had found a true piece of paradise. We look forward to sharing our PCB treasure (our home) with you and your family. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your vacation is one to be remembered!

Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 6):

Pros: Check in and out were smooth. Sean emailed instructions a few days before arriving. House was exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and silverware. All small appliances were available. Plenty of beach toys, and boogie boards were also available with a cart to tote them all. Cons: Only thing missing was an iron and ironing board. Sofa has seen better days and blankets should be replaced, trundle in second room is on the floor (I guess it’s missing wheels, but for a little one, it’s ok.)Overall, we were very happy with our stay and proximity to the beach entrance was In walking distance. The property is very well kept. The location is on the west side of the beach, short drive to Pier Park and away from the busy end of the strip.

Disappointed-Would not Recommend

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but felt I needed to let other potential renters know about the experience we had. First, the owner did not send any check-in information to me, I had to request it on the day of check-in. When we arrived to what is advertised as a 2 bedroom condo with 2 queen beds, we were surprised with one queen bed and the other bedroom had a bunk bed with a trundle bed underneath. This was not an ideal sleeping arrangement for our group. The pictures on the listing even show the two bedrooms with two queen beds. This is false advertising in my opinion. Then, about a couple weeks after our stay, I received an email from the travel insurance company for damage claims against us. It stated a replacement for the trundle mattress (we did not use the trundle), replacement of broken blinds (the blinds were broken when we arrived), replacement of dining chair (we used the table and chairs once and did not break anything). Also, we were accused of theft of a fold up beach chair. The chair was broken, rusted, and mildewed. It was completely unusable and was probably a $20 chair at best but it was claimed that it cost $130. When we took it to the beach and the back fell off and rusty water fell on the sand beneath it, we went ahead and threw it away. It appears to me that since we purchased the travel insurance, the insurance company is being taken advantage of to get necessary repairs made to the condo that should have already been taken care of.

Perfect Stay!

My family and I loved staying here! It’s in a quiet area with an easy walk to the beach and a pool right next door. Less crowded than the big condo areas, but still close to a lot of restaurants and activities. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed to make it feel like our home away from home for the week. Will definitely book again!

Home aeay from home

The property was fantastic.We loved how quiet the area was,that we were able to have that real home feel,but still able to walk to the beach.The condo was absolutely adorable and super clean.Very close to the store as well as some delicious restaurants.The owner was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed.We will be booking again next year!

Great place just as advertised

I rented this place to work remotely from a different location and to have a few days relaxing at the beach. The listing is exactly as advertised - I don't have any complaints. It was nice to stay on the first floor and the entire condo is on one floor. It's a short walk to the beach. You're near enough to restaurants and things to do but far enough away to avoid as much traffic. Will stay here again.

Great location just a short walk from the beach.

Great communication throughout stay. Place was nice and clean. Just a short walk from the beach and not nearly as much as renting a condo in one of the big buildings. Would recommend renting from this person.

Clean, well decorated, and comfy

The property was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay (even a wagon to haul our stuff to the beach). The unit has a great kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Parking is very convenient as it's right in front of the unit (no need to wait in long elevator lines like the high-rise buildings in the area). Would definitely recommend this property!
