The Big Chill is the perfect spot for the entire family as they have lots of entertainment like movies and concerts on the green, many restaurants, shopping, and outdoor space for the family to hang. Great place if you are looking for a break from the pool or beach or to unwind in the afternoons!

The main living space, kitchen, dining room, and laundry room are all located on the first floor.

Please note there is enough parking for 2 vehicles. You are welcome to rent a golf cart from the preferred vendor for this neighborhood, 30A Gulf Carts. No pets allowed!

The beach access:
~Deer Lake State Park Beach Access: Closest to Prominence! It is under a 5-minute bike ride West on 30A from Prominence. This beach access has 50 parking spots available along with bathrooms and dining pavilions equipped with charcoal grills. The boardwalk here is lengthy (about a quarter mile), There is a $3 entry fee per vehicle that can be paid with cash on site or can also be reserved in advance.

~Gulf Lakes Beach Access: Best for bike rides to the beach and is a 7 minute ride East on the pedestrian path on the South side of 30A. There are newly placed "No Parking" signs on the South shoulder that prohibit parking golf carts on the South shoulder directly next to the Gulf Lakes Access and Pelican Circle community all the way to Camp Creek Lake.

~ Seabreeze Beach Access: Right past Gulf Lakes Access and is another option with available North side 30A shoulder parking slightly closer to its entry. You can park and use the nearby crosswalk to crossover 30A directly to the access entry.

~ Walton Dunes Beach Access: 10 min. bike ride West on 30A from Prominence. There is no fee for this access. This access is tucked in a residential area off 30A but has a public parking lot about 100 yards from the access entry. Walton Dunes is an easier entry as it has no boardwalk or steps, and you can walk from the road directly onto the beach. This is a good option for dropping off passengers and gear then parking in the nearby lot. The parking lot is limited, so getting here early is suggested. There are plenty of bicycle racks at the access should you decide to ride a bike.

- Inlet Beach Regional Access: 15-minute car ride but is a great option with ample parking, on-duty Lifeguards, and restrooms. You cannot take the golf cart to the Inlet Beach Access due to the distance from the house and because carts are restricted in Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and along Highway 98.

Recreational vehicles, campers, boats, and trailers cannot be parked in Prominence, unless completely contained within a garage. If you need space for those, it’s recommended that a spot be reserved in advance at a local storage facility.
