Mid Century Modern Barbie bungalow in Historic Ocotillo Lodge

Take a perfectly pink step back in time to relax at Pink Paradise in the iconic Ocotillo Lodge. This historic Mid-Century Modern landmark was built in 1957 (designed by architect Willian Krisel) and was the vacation destination to the stars! Pink Paradise is inspired by the past with all of the modern amenities, all of which are of course, are PINK! This single story bungalow is located within walking distance of amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops in South Palm Springs.

Enjoy a dip in the famous key-hole shaped pool under the palm trees surrounded by beautiful San Jacinto mountain range while Frank Sinatra plays from the community speakers. Dry off in the cutest and PINK-est bungalow steps away from the pool. Pink Paradise is the perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in Palm Springs history. The home was designed with the ever-fabulous, and our favorite Golden Girl, Blanche Devereaux in mind. From the pink tiles, to the pink wallpaper, to the pink fridge and even the pink sand in the desert garden, this home is filled with all things PINK!

The open kitchen is stocked with the essentials and of course all the pink cookware, bakeware and appliances you'll need to whip up your favorite dishes. Have a coffee or a tea or hot chocolate from the coffee station which is home to a single serve machine for ease, a coffee grinder, an adorable french press, or if you prefer a latte we have a moka pot for espresso and a milk frother! For breakfasts we have a pink retro toaster, the cutest mini waffle maker or if you're just in a mood for a smoothie we have a blender just for you! There's ample storage space and room to prep on the bar, or maybe use the drink accessories to make yourself a strong martini!

In the living room you'll find a comfortable pink couch to read or relax on when watching the 58" television. The living room is big and open for dancing to the select records we provide including Madonna's Immaculate Collection or the pink Aqua Aquarium vinyl. Take a peak at our custom wallpaper with all of the Palm Springs famous landmarks, it's truly one-of-a-kind! The large floor to ceiling sliding doors lead out to the retro pink tiled patio with outdoor dining and lounge chairs. There are spectacular views of the mountains and palms from the patio and with the string lights it is truly a special place to relax.

The adorable bedroom is incredibly pink and the King size bed is incredibly comfy. Have a lie in and watch some Netflix or even do some work from the designated working desk in the bedroom. This room is extra special with the fun flamingo wallpaper and heart shaped lighting and of course the paintings of our favorite Golden Girls, Blanche and Rose. There's plenty of space for your things in the mirrored closet which also contains a dresser, iron/ironing board and of course some pink hangers.

Don't forget to take a selfie at our Palm Springs mural on your way to the bathroom! Enjoy natural light from the large skylight and multiple mirrors help with getting your beautiful self ready. The luxurious walk in shower has multiple shower heads for the most relaxing shower, we also provide the essential body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The double vanity is also home to pool towels, pool floats/pump, hair dryer, extra toiletries & towels.
