"Very clean room with very friendly and accommodating staff, plus the proximity to the beach is outstanding…Will definitely stay here again!"

"Room was clean other than lack of supplies in room ex: 1/4 roll of toilet paper ,no Kleenex or paper towels . Dishes and utensils had to be washed before using and lack of bowls etc.. that usually are in full kitchen units .Split heating units were very noisy while trying to sleep. Over all great location for a weekend get away. Restaurant on location was on off season hours staff were great and food was good."

"I like that this is close and convent to all of Portland"

Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation...

"Good breakfast and the room is clean."

"We had the best stay here! It was very cozy, clean and at a perfect distance to town."

"room was very modern, however some areas did not look well cleaned (edge if the bed had some dried white liquid). the surrounding area has nice shops but is very sketchy at night. did not feel comfortable with the parking situation. also at 6am sounded like maintenance or cleaning crew was constantly in and out of the elevator making tons of noise. was good for a night but wouldnt stay again."

"We had a very nice stay. Staff was very accommodating and responsive. Room was very nice and clean. Keep in mind that this is an older traditional mansion style home with very good amenities, so I believe any reviews that you read from others referencing the “dated” nature of anything is misguided and not aligned with expectations. If you want modern, go to a hotel, if you want history, and traditional look in a manor type setting, then this place is perfect. It is very charming and a perfect...
