My husband and i stayed in a Classic Double room with a lovely big shower, they also provided towels, hair shampoo, shower gel all organic and great quality along with the hand soap. Our bed was amazing very comfortable, also great blackout curtains too. The windows don’t open in the room but the good news is you have great air con and heating at your fingertips. The Tv was 52” and fabulous with free view channels...

"First time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. "

"I loved my stay at Torbay Guest house. It is located on a quiet road within a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was amazing and freshly-prepared. "Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be. "

"The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion.
My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and...

Although they did not do a breakfast or have a dining room, they made up a wonderful breakfast hamper, delivered to your room at your convenience, which including a bacon or sausage bap, amongst many other items. The room was quite smalll but beautifully and tastfully decorated with a lovely view of the grassed garden which also served as a car park. Thank you and I certainly hope to return,"
