Best view's ever, take the Tram to your Penthouse!
We cannot believe our luck finding this penthouse apartment above Pacifica! Highlights as follows: Perfect communication from the owners during all aspects of the arrival and through the stay > Most amazing views from inside and from the deck, windows every where > Tram, there is a freaking tram car that fits 4 adults (700lbs) and it saves you from hiking up the many levels of stairs > Kitchen, the kitchen has everything including extra oil, salt, pepper, spices, everything you need except the food to cook > Comfort, very comfortable bed, our kids slept on the fold out futon and couch, we all slept great We will be returing in 2025!

Ocean view get-away
We had a wonderful experience in the penthouse stay. It was very quiet, had everything we needed, even a fan for white noise (which I like)! We forgot our binoculars, and were regretting it many times, so don't forget yours!! A telescope woukd be fantastic as well for clear nights too. This location is a easy drive to SF, Half Moon Bay (fishing, kayaking, or buy fresh seafood), stores are a short distance away, lots of other places. Or just stay put in Pacifica! It is a wonderful place. Angel and Jay are very responsive when needed. The place is very clean. The view is unlike any other! The trolley makes your stay very easy. We had a friend come for dinner, and they were able to find a spot to park off the side of the road a little way down the street. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your treasured space! ❤️

Comfortable penthouse with spectacular views
Nice studio penthouse with amazing ocean views. The kitchen was very well equipped, and it was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The tram didn't give us any trouble and made it very easy to get up the hill.

This place is all about the view and it does not disappoint. While we had our two sons along with us, the place is really best for a couple or a solo traveler, as it is a studio. We had a great time!

Another Great Stay
This was our 3rd time staying in the penthouse. That should tell you how enjoyable it is. We highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a private coastal nest. We just can't get enough of those foggy days.

Needs some maintenance
We stayed in the penthouse in June of 2021. First, without a doubt, the view from the deck is spectacular. And even including all the fees, the price was reasonable for the area. The inside of the unit is pretty much just as it is pictured. It’s a little dated, but clean. The bed is comfortable. Plenty of linens, and the kitchen has a good supply of dishes and cooking items. The area shown above the staircase is use for storage for a bunch of odds and ends, which was a little weird. There is a tram that can bring you and/or your luggage up to the top, which works great. There were two big disappointments for us. First, there is a tremendous amount of old building material, outdoor furniture, ladders, buckets, and general trash everywhere you look. The entire tram ride is a survey of discarded lumber, hoses, wires, etc. And the entry to the penthouse is lined with more trash, tools, and materials. You also get a view into the laundry area, which is another disaster. The general condition of the outside of the property says ‘deferred maintenance’. The second was the condition of the deck. There is outdoor carpet on that deck that is loose and bunching up, the paint on the rail is peeling in a big way, and just shows a lack of attention. The nice picnic table in the photos is basically unusable as the top is now warped and broken. There is a gutter around the base of the deck to protect the unit below – it is basically completely rotted away. One small issue – we were not sent check in instructions. When we prompted them, we received them quickly. No further issues – easy after that. Also, an earlier message took days to get a response. Also not a big issue, but worth mentioning. I hope the property owners step in with some essential repairs soon, and also consider hauling away some of the garbage. We understand that upkeep on a house so near the ocean is a challenge, but you still have to do it. Still, we do recommend. Try to close your eyes on the journey up to the top. I would like to give it 3.5 stars, but could only pick 3 or 4.

Beautiful Views
We had a lovely stay at here at Pedro Point. The place had reliable fast internet and comfortable bed and pillows. The whole north side of the studio was open for a beautiful panorama view of the beach, and the deck gave great views of the northern skies. I was glad to have brought my telescope. It's a trek to the top of the stairs if you have a lot to bring in or are coming and going throughout your stay. The tram was very handy when we arrived but was not working when we left. If you would be dependent on the tram to get yourself or your belongings up to the studio, this might not be for you.

Tram ride for the kids, view for the parents
The space was perfect and open with amazing views of Pacifica! Fog was dense so we couldn’t see the bridge but so much more to enjoy. Well located along the hillside, access was very easy. The 120+ steps weren’t a big deal since there was a tram that would lift you to the space. We spent most of the time on the balcony looking out - if we weren’t on the beach!

The perfect city escape
My partner and I stayed for a few days in early August and got lucky w perfect weather (barely any fog) and a lot of humpback whale sightings! The patio is absolute perfection - so much space - we spent the majority of our time out there. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. The owners were extremely communicative and responsive. The tram up to the unit was a special / unique experience as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Heavenly retreat in the clouds.
My daughter and I loved our stay at angel and jays. They carried our bags up to their pent house to the most beautiful view of Pacifica imaginable. We spent our mornings doing yoga looking out at the surf. We spent our days hiking and strolling along the beach to return to this little piece of heaven. Thank you.

Amazing View
If you want an amazing view this is the property to rent!! We wish we would have spent more time there but we were in the city all day, which was about 20 mins into SF. Pleasee note that there are 127 steps but well worth! Angel checked in a few times during the the trip to make everything was ok.

Great Place for a Anniversary Get Away
This place was wonderful. WHAT A VIEW! Everything was well laid out and ready for us when we arrived. Only warning is that there were quite a few stairs to the apartment/condo,. but we were more than aware of this from Angel, before we even booked and reminded again at the point we received the check in instructions. They have taken the time to install a tram for you luggage and that made it fine for us. just a nice workout... We were able to wake up each morning and enjoy breakfast on the balcony looking at the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance and watching the surfers in the bay. So peaceful and refreshing. My wife said she took a mental picture of the view and never wants to forget it. The drive into SF was easy, where we spent our days. Locally, stores, restaurants and grocery were very close (you could see them from the balcony) and convenient and everything was great. During the trip, Angel checked in this us before we arrived, gave us all the contact info we needed and we were good to go. We also received our check in instructions well in advance so there were now worries as we arrived. Thru the trip we had a few questions, and she was easy to access and quick to respond. Her help was greatly appreciated. For the finish of our 15 year anniversary trip, spending a few days in Angel's "Cabo San Pedro" condo, as they called it, was a great treat. Only wish we were still there watching the waves crash on the beach. - Bill Thomas

Room With a View - WOW
this unit was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the view. Saw whales from the deck 2 days in a row and could hear them blowing. Black tail deer met us just outside the back door on the hillside, a doe and her 2 babies, early evening on the way to dinner. Would definately stay here again. So convenient to go into SanFran without the hectic pace and noise of staying in town.

Cant beat the view but the property itself needed work.
We loved the beautiful view however the property needs some work. The large deck was almost uninhabitable with wet carpet and cobwebs covering furniture. The carpet inside had alot of spotted stains, there were ants in the kitchen, large side window needed to be cleaned and we could have used additional bath linens for a week stay. Overall the property was great but it really just needs a good cleaning and some upgrading.

You won't want to leave
This was our 2nd time staying here. We loved it as much as the 1st time. Shopped right across the street. Cooked and baked in the convenient kitchen. Relaxed on the deck. Enjoyed the comfy furniture inside. Drove to local restaurants for lunch. Walked on nearby trails and beach. Slept well amongst fluffy bedding. Our favorite part though is feeling like you're the only ones up in the trees looking at the ocean while enjoying the amazing coastal breezes. We can't wait to return. Great communication from hosts so it's been a pleasure.

Amazing views!
The property suited us well, it is convenient for a commute (car or nearby BART train) into SF and the view over the coast is amazing. Be aware there is a climb of 100 wooden steps to the top floor apartment. A funky outdoor lift is provided for your baggage however. Supermarket and restaurants a very short drive away. Owner's instructions and communication was very clear and prompt.

Gorgeous view, relaxing and airy.
Vast Pacific Ocean unobstructed view from high above a hill. The living room is open with a high ceiling. Plenty of light. Kitchen is stocked with all basic utensils to cook. There is a big grocery store nearby, a 5 minute drive. Nice restaurants 5 minutes away too. A great public golf course called Sharp Park 10 minutes away by car. Hard to get around without a car. The stairs didn't bother us at all. Equivalent of walking up an 8 floor building. The apartment was build probably in the 1970s. So it's not with a brand new feel to it. The furniture on the deck was tired looking and needed refurbishment. The router to the wifi was located in the apartment below and was weak in our unit. Could hardly connect. Drive to sfo airport was about 20 minutes. Very convenient. Lots of hiking courses nearby. Great special place.

Best place to wake up in!!!
The place is amazing. Has everything you would need to stay for a long period of time. I know it’s spring time and it’s time for spring cleaning, but the only things I’ve noticed are the outdoor carpet on the deck needs to be changed and lots of spider webs and twigs around outside. That’s it. I’ll definitely want to stay again and will recommend this place to everyone I know.

The view was amazing. The apartment is very closed to a little beach w/ restaurants nearby. If you have trouble with steps this place is Not for you. You do have to climb many flight of stairs to get to the apartment. For my husband and I the climb was worth it for the view. I liked the complimentary organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion to use during the stay. We had a problem with the Wifi and the owner was quick to respond but we were never able to get it to work well enough for my husband to use it for the business he needed to handle during our stay. He had to leave and go to one of the local restaurants to use their Wifi. The apartment itself is nothing super fancy. You are definitely paying for the view and the view does not disappoint. I would stay their again.

Jennifer, thanks so much, I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us in Pacifica! While we're happier with a cozy, well stocked place than a fancy one, we do absolutely want to provide great WiFi for our guests. The week after you stayed, I had fiber run up to the house, as Comcast was unable to adequately solve the problem. So we now have very consistently reliable, very fast internet always available at the house. I'm so sorry that it was not working well enough when you stayed, but I am so happy to hear that you will be back again. Thanks so much! ~Angel

Very Serene.
Me and my husband absolutely love this place. We came down from San Diego cause I had to work in my corporate office in San Francisco for 3 days and let me just say this place is so beautiful and peaceful and the view forget about it. Everytime I came back we are staying here. The owner is super perfessional and sweet and she’s very helpful. I definitely recommend this place. 😊👍❤️

Incredible views with cozy living quarters. Close to many beautiful beaches, parks & trails.
Absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again. Unexpectedly, while on the balcany we spotted two hump back whales in the bay and watched them for hours as they made their way close to Pedro Point shoreline. It was one of the most amazing sights we have ever experienced. If you are interested in nature, you will definitely want to pack binoculars to take full advantage of the views this home offers. We didn't mind the stairs and it was only a short walk from the home to the beach, shops and restaurants. The only negative was that a couple nights of sleep were interupted by a neighbor's whining dog that was left outside all night.

Location and view were breathe taking! The studio was plenty of space, clean and cute/up to date furnishings. Plenty of shops, restaurants and access to the beach nearby! One thing to note: be careful if you show up at night. Parking is a little tight and at a slant but nothing to complain about. We'd love to come again! Thank you for everything!

When can we go back?
We loved Pedro Point! It was our nest in the clouds for a few days of bliss. Absolutely peaceful. Everything we needed was right there. Perfect place for 2. Loved leaving the doors open for cool breezes. That cozy recliner was the best spot for reading. The couch was great to recline on as well. And thanks to Grandma Joyce for the comfy table with perfect views. Really spacious restroom. Lots of towels and essentials. We never wanted anything that wasn't already provided. Favorite part was the king size bed. I'm married to a diagonal sleeper so a king is a must. So cozy too. Bedding was lovely and warm on the cool nights. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here. We feel so grateful whenever someone is willing to share a space like this with others. Thank you so much. Although we never met the hosts, they were really great to communicate with via messaging. We highly recommend this nest in the clouds!

Great spot and Host!
Great spot in Pacifica. Unfortunately it was foggy mornings/evenings & out exploring all day so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the view. Either way it was very cool to be up so high overlooking the beach. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) so sleeping was tight, but comfortable. King bed, futon mattress & couch (not a pullout bed). We were out most of time so the studio layout was fine for us. Also loved the hawaiian feel. Only knocks were the luggage tram was down, however Angel was very apologetic & accomodating. Also could use some minor updating, but otherwise perfect spot for our SF & coastal NorCal vacation.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit phantastischem Ausblick
Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz, durch die Lage am Highway 1 praktisch gelegen für Fahrten in den Süden, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Schallisolierung zur darunter gelegenen Wohnung ist nicht wirklich gut; der Transport von Reisegepäck über den "Aufzug" ist ziemlich aufwändig. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung wegen des Ausblicks auf den Pazifik und die Aussicht auf die Golden Gate Bridge vom riesigen Balkon aus ein tolles Feriendomizil !

One of the coolest views I have experienced in a rental
My wife and I loved our stay in Pacifica. It is true that you should not consider this property if you have mobility issues as the stairs were a pretty good workout. However, the view from the penthouse apartment was spectacular. In addition, you are up higher than anyone else, so there is no one looking down on you or in your windows. That is a good thing as there are no window coverings in this place other than in the bathroom. The only time this was an issue was in the morning when the sun comes up. I am not usually an early riser. The kitchen was sufficient for our needs and the mattress on the bed was in pretty good shape. Overall, the property was clean and very private. Angel was professional and communication with her was a good experience. We would stay again if we end up over that way again.

We had a great time for our 41st anniversary. The view is spectacular! The only snag is the staircase. Being in our 60's the stairs were a big challenge. It definitely limited the times that we left the condo.

The property is clean and very comfortable and the view is breathtaking
This property is all about the view!! It would have been a five for us, the only two reasons it is not, the parking for our full size pickup F250 was very tight, to the point I was a bit nervous having it hanging out in the middle of the road. The 2nd reason, the stairs make it a bit challenging for coming and going with little ones. But, to Angles credit, we were warned. I would caution anyone with health issues or the elderly. Angel was very responsive and informative.

Great Views, Charming Space, Great Management
We really enjoyed staying at this location. We were on the top floor penthouse, which has tons of stairs, perfect for staying in shape while you are on vacation. Definitely use the tram for luggage and groceries. The walk up was just one of the things that set this place apart along with the view and great neighbors. Location? Just seconds away from the local market (along with a Safeway and Rite Aid) and a great little spot called Devil's Slide Tap Room, which had an excellent staff and the best damn burger I tried during our stay - just don't ask for Bud or Bud Light - domestic craft beer only haha. So much great food just down the street and everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. A couple miles down the street is Rockaway Beach, which has some great little spots to shop, eat and just relax. If you are into local bars and taverns, don't miss Winter's Tavern: a place with a lot of attitude and live music every night, even matinee performances. The space was similar to a typical downtown studio apartment, but it had plenty of space to roam around or relax. WiFi was super fast, which was great since I had to work while I was there. The space was clean and had everything we needed, and some things that were just nice little extras. I would be remiss to not state that we had a couple small issues while we were there that Angel remedied right away. Sometimes professionals call themselves "professional" yet rarely do much to back it up, but Angel was truly attentive AND professional. We have stayed at other shared vacation spots that were wonderful for the most part and some were just OK. The property management has and always will set any space apart. Thanks you, Angel, for taking care of us. We would probably stay at this very spot again if/when we return to Cabo San Pedro/Pacifica. Our last day started off with a double-rainbow, which was seen end-to-end right out the massive windows that overlook the Bay. It was a nice blessing to complete our trip. Gotta love that Bay fog!
