Se det stadigt skiftende Stillehav om dagen og et blændende tæppe af blinkende bylys om natten. Forestil dig hvalsafari fra dit eget dæk, når de kommer ind i Pacific Grove Marine Gardens Park (en under havparken) lige overfor huset. Se dykkerdykkerne bare et stenkast fra kystlinjen. To blokke til den berømte centralt beliggende Lover's Point Park. Gå en tur langs stranden på Monterey Bay Coastal Trail; forbi Asilomar Beach, videre til Pebble Beach og det berømte 17-Mile Drive. Eller mod Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row og Fisherman's Wharf ved det historiske centrum af Monterey med dens butikker og restauranter.

Gåtur ned ad Ocean View Boulevard til Lover's Point Park og lej en cykel eller surrey (4-personers cykel), kør langs Monterey Bay Coastal Trail til akvariet, Cannery Row og Old Fisherman's Wharf og videre! Spar parkeringsafgifter på grund af bekvemmeligheden ved aldrig at skulle tage din bil. Cykeludlejning fås også i Lover's Point Park (ved siden af snackbaren) og i rækken Cannery. Alt, hvad det kræver, er mindre end 10 minutters kørsel til Carmel-by-the-Sea; en fantastisk landsby i europæisk stil med butikker, restauranter, vintur, kunstgallerier og mere.

Ocean Front Home, til Monterey Bay Aquarium (~ 1. 3 miles), Pebble Beach Resort (ca. 5 min), 17-Mile Drive (5 min. Kørsel), Cannery Row (~ 1. 4 miles) og Fisherman's Wharf (~ 2 miles). Efterlad din bil ved huset og nyd en gåtur langs rekreationssporet til havet foran de ovenstående seværdigheder.

Perfect spot

I’ve stayed in Carmel and it’s great but pacific grove was more quiet and the views were amazing. House was perfect for us and a great ocean trail is right out the door. We had our coffee looking at the ocean. Host was fantastic and all the little things were there

Ocean Vacation Bliss!

Our stay here was amazing! The house is in the best location for nature watching and taking a nice run or walk or bike ride up the coast in either direction. We watched sea otters for hours from the deck upstairs and the upstairs bedroom. We saw dolphins and seals from the house too! From the house we could walk to restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfy! We felt very safe there even though the house is on a main road. Pacific Grove is a perfect spot and not crowded at all. We will definitely come back, but for longer next time!

Beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property included all necessary amenities and several small touches that made our stay with smaller children easier. We loved taking walks along the ocean trail and watching the wildlife from the windows. On a particularly warm evening, the sound of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep with the windows open. I was a bit worried about close from the road, but it was minimal and not disruptive at all.

The view takes the cake!

The view exceeded expectations. Each day sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous and the animals came out to play (sea lions and otters). Location was so convenient with both walkable restaurants/stores as well as things that were just a quick drive (ex. aquarium). My only recommendation is a more thorough job in cleaning the place as there was dried spilled coffee down the cabinet (below the coffee machine). The downstairs room with the futon could be dressed up a bit to feel less like you’re sleeping in a closet (first step would be to sweep the cobwebs). Despite the small things mentioned, it was a lovely location. Our family had a great time.

Fabulous location

Our family of six including two young grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had what we needed. The view was fantastic! We could see otters floating in the kelp. The location was perfect- across from the ocean and coastal trail. We hope to come back.

Fabulous!

What a fabulous location and a perfectly equipped home (games, books and the VIEW). We had everything we needed and more! We had a senior, young family with baby and a couple and the house could not have been more perfect. We had the family of three upstairs in a room with a porta-crib and we could play games, visit, laugh (oh yes, a glass of wine or two) and the baby couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear her in the night when she woke up . . . perfect! We never ended up on the upstairs deck, but the front desk was PERFECT! Grace was more than accommodating - after a morning at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (great 1.4 mile walk), we were locked out - being extra careful, I guess - after a quick message to Grace, we were back into the house and the baby was asleep in 5! I would highly recommend this home and look forward to returning next year! Thank you, Grace, for everything!!

Great Time in Pacific Grove

Enjoyed our stay at this rental. Great location. Views of the ocean, seals, otters & birds were astounding. We walked to restaurants and we cooked in and hung out on the patio & balcony and enjoyed the view. We would stay here again.

Sister get away

Had my sisters in for a short stay. This property was perfect for the three of us. Plenty of room, very clean, all the supplies that you would want, view of ocean is fantastic, location to both Monterey and Carmel was an easy commute. Love the walking path just across the street. Grace was always hospitable & timely on communication. Highly recommend this home!

Great stay in Pacific Grove

We had a great stay at the property. The location worked out great for the area. You are right down from Lover's Point and close to the heart of Pacific Grove, the Aquarium and a short drive to everything we wanted to do. The property was well stocked and clean. The washer/dryer works especially well for a rental. The parking behind the house worked well for smaller SUV (larger would be tight) but there was a lot of street parking as well. Two things to note with the bathrooms. The one shower/bathroom is downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs - not a complaint just a note. Also, the upstairs shower is very short and a little tight for space. It worked fine but just a tight fit if you are close to 6ft. The other thing to note is the house has 5 doors from the outside. The neighborhood feels very safe but the number of doors was just unique for us given the size of the place.

Great little house on the ocean

We had a great stay. The house is very cute and comfortable. It was absolutely spotless, and I have to give an extra shout out for the comfortable beds - you don’t often find those in a VRBO - and 2 kings in PG is hard to find as well. We arrived on the weekend so the traffic from Lovers Point made it seem a little busy, but it was perfect during the week. We loved being right across the street from the beach path where we could hope over and take a walk or sit on a bench by the ocean any time we wanted. We had a great stay, the house worked really well for us!

It was awesome to have coffee and watch the seals from the front porch, have trails right out your front door, and close to all the attractions. It’s a very nice little house, well appointed, and Grace was quick to respond to all our questions.

Stairway not to Heaven

The steep stairway without adequate hand railing was the biggest disappointment. Very dangerous. One bedroom had no closet, just metal shelves in the corner of the room. The shower was small and although the listing states there is a tub, there is not. The bedding for the futon did not include sheets. The "bench on the beach across the street" is actually not directly across the street. There is no AC which is probably not needed often but it was pretty warm while we were there. And, for the amount of money, Folgers coffee really? Pretty bare bones. That said, it is a cozy little place and it is conveniently located near many nearby attractions. I would look around and probably stay there again if I couldn't find anything similar but safer. The stairs were a huge problem for an 80, 70 and 65 yr. old. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pacific Grove, Monterey and Carmel.

Definitely want to stay again!

The house was simple and exactly what we needed for our stay. The only con was parking across the street away from the house. Neighbors took up all the parking in front of and on the side street. But the location is amazing! I got to say hello to my seal, sea lion, and sea otter friends every morning. We even saw whales one morning from the living room when there was no fog! If you’re looking for a great priced place to stay that’s private and simple, this is it. I’m already planning our next trip there and we just got back home today.

Not as advertised-not worth the money

The functional living space was much smaller than the pictures. There was no mention of the second bathroom being downstairs. The pictures were obviously staged. Everything was smaller except the kitchen. There were fees that no one could explain to us. They charged a cleaning fee and then expected us to strip the beds and take out the trash. Our two couples could have stayed in 2 rooms at the 7 Gables for the price and that includes breakfast. We were very disappointed.

Wonderful stay in Pacific Grove

We truly enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove. It was very easy to communicate with Grace, she was very quick at answering any questions that we had. The house is very clean and very well equipped with everything that you need. The beds were very comfortable. The view is magnificent, nature right outside your door. The walkway in front of the house was great. It is a 5 Min walk to lovers point (restaurants, place to rent kayak and paddle boards) and about 20 mins walk to Cannery row. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Loved the area and would go back.

Great View - I Miss It Already

This is a great little house with a fantastic view. I miss getting up each morning and watching the sea otters from my bedroom window. Central location to many activities. Parking was easy. Pacific Grove is a very welcoming town. The walking path across from the house is fantastic. Very beautiful location.
