We had a party of 9, including 2 young kids (6yr and 5yr) staying for 4 nights. The house is very well stocked with everything you can think of for preparing food. The kitchen layout is great for cooking and eating (had 9 seats in an "L" shaped counter. The setting is great for kids, with a small forest view for them to run and play without getting into trouble. We easily walked to beach, the local market and of course the Pelican Brewery. The host was super easy to work with and very responsive to messages.Everyone thought their beds were great for sleeping, good size TV's, Hottub and BBQ all worked great. We'd definitely stay there again!

This was a fantastic 5-star stay from start to finish. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, with excellent communication throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything we needed while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. The space itself was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The hot tub was definitely a highlight and such a great bonus—it really made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. We also loved the fire pit, which was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Having access to the garage for parking was another huge plus and made things very convenient.

Clean and quiet

Nice home on a quiet block, backing up to a preserve, and a short walk to the beach and stores. Very lightly appointed, so bring your own beach gear, toys, etc.

Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all weekend. We appreciated an extra folding table and chairs for playing games. Lots of space, extra clean, comfy beds and a short walk to everything. We saw deer in the mornings and tide pools in the afternoon. The hot tub was great. The check-in/out was easy.We felt safe parking our cars in the quiet neighborhood and there is extra security with cameras in the front and back of the property.

Rod was an absolutely incredible host—he truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by how impeccably clean the home was (and as someone who’s very particular about cleanliness, that says a lot!).The location couldn’t have been better—everything was within easy walking distance, including the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The backyard felt like a private oasis—so peaceful and beautifully maintained—and the hot tub was the perfect place to unwind. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, which made our stay feel effortless and comfortable from start to finish. We can’t recommend Rod’s home enough and will absolutely be staying again. Thank you, Rod, for such a wonderful and memorable trip!

A great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The location of this home is perfect. The outdoor deck with fire pit and hot tub are great for family time, and the kids really enjoyed playing in the sand around the deck. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We have stayed in many homes over at Pacific City and this is now our favorite! Rod is an excellent host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a great stay!

Beautiful Home. Great location.

Our whole family loved this home. It was so clean and cozy. Big open space to gather and we loved the kitchen island to gather for meals and morning coffee. The deck was our favorite with the woods in the back. We saw lots of deer and was peaceful in the morning. Walking trail just steps away for quiet morning walks. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Showers were amazing.Everything is super close - restaurants, shopping, groceries. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We loved it.

Great location and comfortable house

We had a small family reunion (2 families of 4) at the house and it was perfect. It is well equipped and has a nice backyard. The backyard also leads to a local trail. The communication with the manager was very easy. We would love to come a again.
