"We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had most everything in the description. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and we watched a couple of movies in the vcr. We had a fire outside every night and had fun in the kayaks. The only things we found negative were lack of hate for the stairs and no life jackets. Thankfully the lack is shallow for a ways. If you are looking for a five star hotel this is not your place. If you are looking for a quiet place on a lake to enjoy time...

"We had a great stay at Scott's place. The place was super clean & comfy. Scott's a great host, has everything you could need. Loved the telescope in the huge front window, was so much fun to zoom in on the freighters passing! So many little extras, like beach towels & flashlights for yooperlite hunting! We had our dogs & they had a great time playing in the water & exploring the area! Hope to visit again! Thanks for a great stay! by. He even had some lights to huyooperlites!"

"Did not use bunk house but cabin was perfect size for 2-4 people. It was clean and comfortable. Great place to launch day trips and an even better place to come back to. Access to beach right out the door and can watch freighters come and go day and night. Hard to beat!"

"My family loved the cabin. We spent Friday on the island then all the rainy day Saturday in the cabin. The kids loved the beds and all the games. The mosquitos were insane but was a great time. Definitely will book again"

"Upon arriving to The River Hutch, you are greeted with a private driveway with a gorgeous landscape of birch trees and a charming cabin seated on roughly 10 acres off of the edge of the Pine River. This was by far one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had. The whole family and even our German Shepard dog Gus felt at home right away. "I have never stayed in a cleaner cabin! I was pleasantly surprised that they ask you to remove your shoes in the cabin, which was extremely nice since we have a 14 month old. It was a great secluded location. The shower head had a lot of pressure which was nice. More short term rental folks could take notes from these folks! They had hooks everywhere. Overall a great stay. "
