Amazing views

Property is as described and more. One of the best places we have ever stayed at and with everything you would ever need in the kitchen especially. I would highly recommend this gorgeous property.

Paradise

There are few words which can describe the beauty of this property. The interior is designed so well and the exterior is Mother Nature at her best. Property manager and owners were helpful and assisted with any questions I had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to rewind, relax and rejuvenate.

Perfect get-a-away!

We stayed at this condominium for a birthday get away…it was perfect! We traveled with two other couples and there was plenty of room in each private, King size bed, private balcony room…which was enjoyed every morning for coffee and evening cocktails. Two pools to enjoy…one on the roof and one at the hotel. We could walk to restaurants or take a quick drive, or stay in and enjoy delicious meals in the condominium. This rental is in a quiet location, private building and behind a gated entry way from the main resort. The rental has easy access from parking. The interior was fantastic and did not lack for anything. I highly recommend this location and contacting the owner for any questions was an easy process. They responded as soon as possible.

Truly Spectacular

Let me start by saying I am extremely picky. I have rented from VRBO at least twice before and the pictures were always much better than the actual place. That was definitely not the case with the Lighthouse Condo. When my family and I walked in the door we were all very impressed. The views from every room are spectacular. I think it was my 21 year old son that said, "Mom, you did good!" Everything about the place was great from the furnishings, to the mattresses and bed linens, the kitchen furnishings, etc. The condo was also extremely clean. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool as well as the Oyster Bay Resort pool. I could go on and on. In addition, dealing with the owner was nothing but a pleasure. She was about as prompt as anyone could be anytime I e-mailed her. My family and I had a fabulous vacation at the Lighthouse Condo.

Great Vacation Location

Spectacular views from all three balconies! Beds are ultra comfortable. Use of Resort accommodations (Oyster Bay Resort) are a plus. Kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub on roof is an exciting place to star gaze. Everything was perfect!

Amazing family vacation

This condo was everything we could have ever wanted. We were looking to get away for the holidays and was concerned that we would not be able to get a Christmas tree for our little ones. When we first arrived at the condo we were so surprised to see the beautiful holiday decorations in the unit including a Christmas tree. Every thing about this condo was perfect. The unit was very clean and so was the pool area-which was never crowded. Actually most times we felt like we were the only one's in the building. This was a vacation that we will always remember.

Incredibly Wonderful

This condo lacks nothing! So comfortable from the instant you walk through the door to falling asleep. It is larger than the pictures suggest with incredible views just as stated. Sipping morning coffee or cocktails on either of the balconies will be a favorite for sure. All 3 have very comfy seating! Each bedroom offers very nice beds/bedding with plenty of closet space. The en suite baths are luxurious - with soaking tubs, double sinks, huge showers with double shower heads, plenty of towels, multiple blow dryers and even a curling iron! The gourmet kitchen is well stocked for prepping any meal. My husband was delighted to prepare several meals and was not disappointed. We did eat out as well and found the food fresh, tasteful and reasonably priced. The staff at Oyster are to be commended for their professionalism and friendliness. All are extremely helpful - just ask! We had a great family vacation..want to come back and would hands down stay here again! The owners have this rental unit well thought out, equipped and you'll hate to leave just as we did!

Second Visit -- Still Perfect!

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young adults 17-22 years old) visited this beautiful home for the second time. This is by far the nicest accommodation we have ever had on a Caribbean Island. The home is very large, beautifully furnished and maintained. The views from all 3 balconies and the living room are spectacular! We had the lovely rooftop pool, hot tub and exercise room all to ourselves the majority of the time. There are alot of very good restaurants within walking distance which cater to both families and couples. Most restaurants are on the water with beautiful views of the marina or beach. We did not cook during our stay but if you wanted to cook the kitchen is fully equipped with any utensil/appliance you would need. There is a grocery store you can walk to that has delicious French pastries, bread and croissants daily and any other supplies you need for your stay. The young adults enjoyed the nightly entertainment at the resort (karoake night, flamenco dancers, bingo, live bands) and the Oyster Bay area is very picturesque and safe. Dawn Beach is nice and you are not far away from other very nice beaches (Friars, Happy, and Orient). St. Maarten has so many activities to offer. We cannot wait to go back next year!

Perfect

We rented this condo for a surprise 30th wedding anniversary celebration for our parents! Our family which included six adults and one child (under 2 years old) absolutely loved the condo. We stayed in the condo for a week and felt like we couldn't have picked a better place. It definitely felt like home away from home with all of the amenities. We loved having everything to be able to cook our own meals and being close enough to great restaurants to go out as well. You can't beat the view!!! Seeing the sun rise and set is perfect from the balconies. It was also a plus that there is a boat port on the same property. We watched the boats coming and going. This condo is close to everything, we ventured out daily. Overall we had the perfect stay and would definitely return!!!

Excellent stay in St. Maarten at The Lighthouse

Just returned from a wonderful and relaxing weekend in our stay at The Lighthouse (2B) in St. Maarten. We traveled for a week with my wife, young daughter (2), and sister to this beautiful 3 bedroom luxury condo -- which was truly fantastic. Each bedroom has superb ocean views from their private balconies and the great room is perfect for a family get away. I will undoubtedly return to The Lighthouse when we return to the island.

Wonderful!!

We stayed here the week before Christmas 2012 with our two teenaged children. The reviews do not lie as it is truly is a gem. We have travelled to many areas and this is indeed our new favourite! The condo lacks nothing and actually provides an incredible home away from home feeling with the added benefit of luxury at its best. It is obvious the owners have put much thought and personal touch to this space!! We visited the entire island however found ourselves back at Dawn Beach (next to condo) enjoying the local food and beverage at incredible prices directly from my lounger. I miss the early morning coffee taking in the breathtaking view from my private bedroom balcony......wish I was there now!

Awesome condo!

Our family of 6 ( 2 adults and 4 children ages 5,9,11,13,) stayed here for spring break and it was great! The condo is in a great location where we could walk to Dawn beach and watch the boats pass out the window on their way in and out of the marina. It is also minutes away from St. Martin and Orient beach. The condo has a beautiful view of the water and St. Barts as well as 3 well appointed bedrooms and a beautiful, modern kitchen. This is better than staying at a 5 star resort. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer. Our family loved the pool at Oyster Pond as well as the private pool and hot tub in the lighthouse. There is also a great workout facility with nice equipment on the top floor. We highly recommend this awesome condo and hope to go back in the future.

What a Wonderful Way to Spend a Vacation!!

We had a group of professionals who were heading to St. Maarten for the first time to dive and explore a new island. We found this listing on vrbo.com. The owner was readily available to work with us and was always quick to respond to any questions that we had. We arrived at the condo and were extremely pleased with the accommodations and location of the condo. We honestly could not have asked for a better place to spend our time on St. Maarten. I highly recommend!!

Perfect!

Our group (2 adults and 5 young adults ages 15-22) had a great vacation in this lovely home! We had plenty of room, spectacular views and the condo is beautifully furnished. The kitchen and bathrooms are especially outstanding! Everyone enjoyed the exercise room and rooftop pool, hot tub and lounge. Most of the time we had the pool all to ourselves. The staff at Oyster Bay Beach Resort were very friendly and helpful. There were lots of activities for all ages (movies by the pool, Beach Party at Beau Beaus with fire eater and dancers, live music and bingo). Great restaurants and even a pizza stand are within walking distance. We especially enjoyed our meals at Canoa and Big Fish. Hope to return next year!

Ocean front experience!

All I can say that is sitting on one of three private balconies is truly amazing in this condo.. The waves crash in and it is so relaxing! The unit is very well appointed and is clean and new. A great rental and a nice home base for being in St. Maarten. Highly reccomended.

Luxury Condo-- What an experience!

We just returned from this beautiful condo and can report that it was a wonderful experience. We really pride ourselves in finding the best condos where ever we visit, this unit and the complex can rival any property we have visited over the last 20 years. The caliber of the unit, attention to detail of the craftmanship, the VIEWS, and the location are world class. We will return to this exact unit as it offers a perfect combination of privacy and ocean views. So, we were really thrilled with what we experienced. Also, a great day-time beach bar is steps away.
