The locking of the gate at 6 was a surprise to us and it would be nice to mention it or highlight this, phoning to say we are running 30 min late we did not get an option….very stressful on that road. Arriving we realised that the gate was manned and could have been opened for us 😟
The restaurant is very pricy, would be popular if there could be some cheaper family options.

"We choose this hotel due to its convenient proximity to cape Agulhas which is a quick 10 minute drive away. The hotel is situated on the coast in Struisbaai. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. There is a large lounge and honesty bar for the guests to use, which is a wonderful feature. We had the place to ourselves and it was fun to be a bar attendant for the night! We also had a massage the next morning, which was reasonably priced and very relaxing."

"Even though the weather was less than warm and welcoming, the owners were not. They were absolutely friendly and extremely helpful in every regard. The accommodation site was beautiful, very functional and very comfortable. The shopping centre is within walking distance and so are the beach and harbour. We hope to visit soon again, perhaps during summer to explore in better weather conditions"
