"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this delightful cottage! It was a welcome haven from the busy world, and especially restful because it was exactly as described and actually even better. It was the tiny things like the Phillips head screwdriver and the flathead screwdriver in the kitchen that just spoke to how well Carman took care of her guests.We’re delighted to have this retreat on our radar now."

"We absolutely loved our recent stay at this super cute cabin. The pictures dont do it justice and its in a perfect location. About 30 minutes from Highlands(Dry Falls was awesome), 1 hour from Helen and 2 hours from Gatlinburg. You honestly dont need to leave though. Theres plenty to do at the cabin with the streams, trails, games, fire pit, movies, hot tub, etc. We sadly didnt get to finish the trail to the falls... We were really looking forward to that but I'm not in the best shape to get...

"It is a little secluded and hard to get to at night if you’re not good on gravel roads. It does pass over two small creeks on the road to get to it where your car will dip into the creek so no low cars. The place was very nice overall but the floors made our socks black the first night. Other then that it was very cute and relaxing and the beds were comfy."

"It is an amazing cabin! The wood work is phenomenal! No curtains but there is no one to see you and it gives great views of the surrounding woods. Had a young bear go by one day. Easy check in and plenty of room! Upstairs A/c struggles to keep up in summer. Otherwise a great stay we would do again! "

"We had the absolute best time here! The house was cozy, beautiful and just the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains. We came here to stay for a reunion weekend with friends, and were able to bring our dog! "This is definitely a diamond in the rough. The river is just steps away from the cabin. At night many deer come out, raccoons, and turkeys. My dog loved watching all of them. The home owners are pet lovers and they raise and take care of horses and cats. They go far and beyond to make sure you feel at home. We will definitely go back again. Plus the homeowners leave treats for your pup."

"This place has everything you could ask for in a vacation house! We are so thankful for the time we were able to spend together as a family of 8 with all the provided activities on a creek in the perfect location to other outdoor activities(rock climbing, hiking, river rafting, waterfalls, lakes, parks, and more) the game room/ movie theater, volley ball court, hot tub, puzzles, games and more were some of the many things we enjoyed.
