Two thumbs up!
We stayed here for two weeks this August and had one of the most enjoyable holidays that we've ever had. The house is very simple - a traditional Corsican village house with three double bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace with grapevines climbing across it. We stayed there with our two kids and another couple, and we were very comfortable.
The village itself is gorgeous - nestled in the mountains with dramatic views of the craggy peaks. There's a river with swimming holes about a mile away from the house, and long walks up a dramatic gorge. There are a handful of restaurants in the village - the best of which is Chez Felix. It's about 15 minutes from Porto (touristy but with supermarkets etc), and about 20 mins from some very nice beaches (our favourite was the one just to the north of Porto - I can't remember the name offhand).
The weather in mid August was about 27 degrees with a cooling breeze in the middle of the day. The house was a great base from which to explore, and also a relaxing place just to hang out. We really couldn't ask for anything more. Plus it was very reasonable. I would love to go back, and highly recommend it.
