Nestled on a hillside in the heart of the Puglian countryside, Tenuta Incanto is just an 18-minute drive from the centre of Ostuni, ‘The White City’ and a 23-minute drive from the marine protected beaches of the Adriatic coast.

Ideally set up for alfresco living, this tranquil retreat is surrounded by lush greenery with plenty of space to relax and soak up the Italian sun. Guests can unwind in the private garden, take a refreshing dip in the pool or bask on the sun terrace with a good book. There’s also an outdoor dining area, a BBQ and a shady terrace with comfortable seating.

Inside the villa features a welcoming open-plan living space furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, a dining table and a Smart, flatscreen Digital TV. This area opens out to a shady terrace and incorporates the kitchen, which is fully equipped with: a Dulcegusto coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

Sleeping

Bedrooms 1 & 2: Both the 1st and 2nd bedrooms feature air conditioning and are situated in the main house. These rooms are furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe.

Bedroom 3: The third ensuite bedroom is situated in a Trullo and features a penguin air conditioner. This room is furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers and exits onto the sun deck by the pool.

Extra: There is also a double sofa bed in the open-plan living room.

Bathrooms 1 - 3: All three bathrooms are fitted with a shower, a bidet, a washbasin and a WC.

Location

Tenuta Incanto is surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of Ostuni, with beaches and vibrant lakes just a short drive away. The beautiful Adriatic coastline is approximately a 20-minute drive away, while Ostuni, ‘The White City’, is 18-minutes by car.

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the valley, Ostuni is worthy of a visit. Here guests can explore its narrow medieval streets and the famous cathedral. There is also a bustling weekly market (Saturday morning) where visitors can pick the best local ingredients. For more excellent food, including ice cream pastries and baked goods, visitors should head to Ceglie Messapica (a 20-minute drive), where guests can explore the Baroque architecture and white-washed buildings of the town’s historic centre.

Another popular excursion is a trip to the magical town of Alberobello (55 minutes drive). Noted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Alberobello is a town of Trulli and looks like something from a fairytale.

For guests keen to get to the sea, some of the most striking beaches in Italy, on the Adriatic coast, are about 25 minutes away. For sporty visitors, cycle tours can be arranged on the Val d’Itria cycle route (a 40-minute drive), which runs the length of the valley along the route of an ancient aqueduct.

The closest restaurant is a 6-minute drive (20-minute walk), and there is a supermarket an 11-minute drive from the accommodation in San Michele Salentino.
