"The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. "

"Basic hotel so not for the luxury travelers but bed was comfy and shower good. Has a patio where I could sit and watch birds in the trees. Owner very friendly- made me breakfast every day and provided rides to and from ferry and airport for a small extra fee. Great base for doing Corcovado activities "

"I stayed just one night at Cabinas upon arriving to the Osa peninsula and it was the perfect landing place to being my trip! The staff was so kind and helpful and it was great to be able to get out on the water and Kayak. The location is walking distance to town for cafes, grocery and restaurants. The price is affordable and the room was very clean and cosy! I would definitely stay again if I travel there! "

Fin mad når man tager prisen i betragtning. Man skal bare huske at køre i 4 wheel drive hvis man kører dertil, da man skal køre en time på grusveje gennem mindre floder. Dette er et lille paradis på jorden, meget stille og roligt."

"Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!"

"Perfect for a relaxing retreat with or without the yoga and a good place for the activities in the Oso/Corcovado area. Jen and Stuart’s hospitality is exceptional - everything you need, when you need it, with no fuss, and very well priced (eg $10 for a delicious lunch). Breakfast is delicious. Stuart’s cocktails are great. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The only thing i would have done differently is hiring bikes in town for greater flexibility. "

"Property is an actual retreat, so keep that in mind while booking. Car is almost a must, 4x4 highly recommended but not you can make it there with smaller cars (not that small). The place is very nice, property seems very new. I would definitely come again."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I paid for the room through Expedia, and then the hotel owner insisted that I had to pay again. To repeat, I paid *twice* for this room. Expedia customer service promised to refund me for the second purchase, but then failed to do so after the fact. This is a scam. The room had cockroaches. The door wouldn't lock properly. Seriously, avoid at all costs!!!"
