Disappointing
I took a few days after returning from vacation to give a rational review of this property. As a couple to who travels extensively, the condition and cleanliness of this property is disappointing.
I reached out to the host twice. Once on the first day concerning the cleanliness of the property (very dirty doors, dirty blinds & base boards, a petrified dead lizard in the master bathroom, mold in the grout in the shower, lifting of linoleum in the master bath, barely working hot tub jets and broken screen on the lanai). I got an immediate response and the property manager came out to replace the filter on the hot tub & fix the screen but no one else to came to clean). The next day, we realized the Direct TV was not working and the same property manager came out to fix it. However, he was not able to do so.
On the last day, we did laundry. We did not realize until our white clothes were done drying that the felt dryer gasket was half-off, and our clothes were wrapped in it which caused dark black marks on several t-shirts and underwear. I recognized the same marks on the sheets we were laying on. So, its clear that this has been a known problem if the sheets that are being washed by the cleaning staff have the same marks that my laundry has.
The property needs deep cleaned. The hot tub simply needs replaced-its in disrepair.
A partial refund would go a long way to replace the clothes that are ruined.
