Okay but needs some improvement

Good location within the resort but not close to any shopping. Lots of room. Garage rec room equipment was in extremely poor condition. Hot tub did not work even tho we paid for pool heating. House could use a good update on towels and a few extra kitchen supplies. Pool deck was not marked where there is a step down and one member of our party fell.

Not sure where to start!

Good point: the house is lovely. Bad points: management company are dreadful. I asked is property was fully operational before booking because of Hurricane Ian and they said yes. We turned up: Pool dirty and screens broken. No filters working and had to clean every day to try and use a freezing cold pool that took your breath away. I paid for heating on our first day Monday which was not cheap. This takes 48hra to heat up! We thought it had started to work but it hadn’t as the filters were not turned on. This was rectified on Thursday and the pool was a bit warmer Saturday morning. The screens were due to be repaired on the Tuesday but the contractor could not repair them as he needed to contact the management company who would not answer their phone. We could not use the outside pool area after dark due to being bitten as there were a lot of broken screens. If we had been told about this we would have booked somewhere that was fully functional. The front door lock didn’t work after the second day, this was finally fixed on on our second to last day so we had to leave the house unlocked as we had no way to get in. All in all I would not stay in a property that this management company looked after. Happy and eager to take your money but not so helpful to rectify issues. I spent most of my holiday stressed trying to get them to put things right!!!!’ Not local to any restaurants and golf clubhouse closes at 5pm.

When it says only bare necessities that is what it means. There were no washcloths, no hand towels, no kitchen rags, a limited supply of toilet paper and the towels are really small. The house overall is a nice house but has not been kept up. The blinds were missing several pieces, a light was out in the bathroom, clocks were not working, and some of the bedspreads had bleach spots, the trash only comes 1x a week so when we got there the trash was already full. Ants were a problem at the pool. I don’t think they spray. I live in Florida so I understand bugs are outside, but there was an over abundance and they were even crawling on the outdoor furniture. There were ants in the kitchen and we called. Someone finally came late that next day. The portable air conditioner in the game room (garage) did not work and I asked 2x about it. No one responded but everything else they responded to so either it didn’t work or they didn’t want to turn it in and it got hot in there. Also people showed up without warning to fix things. They didn’t come to the front door. I was sitting by the pool and a man randomly walked in the screen door. He did have a name tag on but he should have come to the door to let us know first. The pool guy did the same thing, just walked right in. Again nice home but not kept up with and missing the details you would expect paying for a vacation home.

Perfect Getaway

This home was very clean and comfortable. Our party of 7 had plenty of space to move around, find quiet time and play together. We will definitely try to get this place again. The management team was quick to respond.

Last minute reservation

We booked this property 2 days prior to arriving in Florida. We had a different property booked with another company and 2 days before we got to Florida, the home we were supposed to stay in had a water leak and our reservation was canceled. We were fortunate to find this home available for the exact dates of our trip. The home was perfect. 1st floor master was perfect for my dad and step-mom (both in their 70s) and there were 5 bedrooms upstairs. 3 of the bedrooms had an en-suite, which was so wonderful. Loved the pool. The only issue we had were with fire ants biting us while we out by and in the pool. I guess they are in season. The company sent someone over to spray, but they accidentally went to the incorrect home and didn't return to our. No big deal though. We saw a soft shell turtle by our house and a few alligators and so many cranes. It was beautiful! We would definitely stay again here. Publix is close by and Walmart was maybe 20 minutes or so away. Thank you for our last minute rental and making the process extremely easy for us!

Quality Place With the Comfort of Home

We are a group of 10 friends/family who travel together and rent properties through VRBO. We found the home had plenty of space for our group. It includes two living rooms, an open kitchen concept, a dining area, comfortable bedrooms (most with En-suite bathrooms) and a large bird-cage lanai with furniture, pool and spa. However, the description of one of the bedrooms is not accurate as it indicates it has two queen beds, when in fact they are two full-sized beds. The couple using this bedroom said they were still comfortable. Just wanted to point this out because when we are looking for homes to rent, we make sure the beds meet our needs for couples. The house was immaculate; kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots & pans and silverware. In addition there is plenty of pantry and refrigerator space for all your supplies. Dining area accommodates 10 people which we used for home cooked meals and game nights. One of the previous reviews indicated a lack of towels. We found towels and wash cloths to be plentiful with extras in the cabinets. The pool includes a spa, which shouldn’t be confused with a hot tub. There are jets for a nice massage, but the spa is pretty much the same temperature as the pool. We paid extra for pool heat, which did maintain a warm temperature and was comfortable and refreshing for us. The internet worked well inside, however out in the lanai area it was very week. In addition, we have Verizon Wireless as our cell phone provider and the cell towers we found to be weak or non existent in the Davenport area. As far as groceries, there is a Publix a little over a mile from the house. In addition, there are other grocery stores in the area. We found a few nice restaurants nearby; Manny’s Original Chophouse in Haines City for dinner and Davenport Diner for breakfast and lunch. Many choices for dining in the area, however make sure you allow time for travel as the traffic appears heavy in Davenport, Kissimmee and the surrounding area. We also recommend a very nice Farmers Market in Lakeland if you have the time. All in all we enjoyed our time in Providence. If we ever plan to back in this area, we would consider renting this property again.

Beautiful home

We stayed two weeks in this home. Check in was easy. The home is beautiful and clean. For future renters — there’s no supplies here at all. Remember to bring dish soap, salt pepper, etc. Pretty much all basic supplies. The pool heat wasn’t working for a few days and they were very prompt sending out someone to fix it. We really appreciated that.

Nice home but cheap

This was a nice house but the accommodations were cheap and the blinds keep falling off. For a house to be over $1,800 for a week we expected better accommodations as far as toiletries and kitchen supplies. The toilet paper was thin and hard and the paper towels were literally made of plastic I’ve have seen better at gas station bathrooms. The kitchen has a lot of plates and cups but as far as cooking supplies they have only a few pots and pans it was hard to make family meals because of the pots are so small and the serving utensils are worse. The blinds came off in every patio door they tried to tape them instead of replacing them just Lola real tacky. Overall the house is nicely decorated and plenty of space for a large group just expected more luxury for the price.

Orlando Holiday Rental Homes

House is exactly like photos, it is beautiful but had an issue that dryer was not vented outside, bedspreads did not feel cleaned, carpets are dirty. For a house this size and for the number of individuals refrigerator is too small to hold enough food for group. Kitchen was not equipped very well. We were provided one thin towel per person for 10 days and no towels for pool area. Several lights were out. The garage has a pool table, and ping pong but the air conditioner for garage did not work. We paid extra to have pool heated for 10 days, that was the reason for this vacation. On the 9th day pool heater was turned off, we paid full price on rental for that day and the only reason we stayed longer was because of the pool. The rental company said sorry…we’ll refund your $20. Had we known we would have departed on the 9th day. I called the emergency number for Orlando Holiday Rental Homes and no one ever returned my call. It is a lovely home but I will never rent from Orlando Holiday Rental Company again, they are not keeping the house up to satisfactory standards. We have rented homes for the past 16 years and have never been dissatisfied before.

Great house lots of room!

The house was great and description was accurate! The only down side was there was no kitchen towels, dish rags, and pot holders to use in kitchen. There was not enough wash clothes , bath towels or hand towels. We only had 1 towel person to accommodate the number of guest. The child didn’t have a towel at all! That was the only issue we had, great communication, very clean and very spacious.

Nice place but

It's a very nice place but we did have some issues. Once we got there, there was no grill we asked for and the pool had no heat. We couldn't get a hold of the owners once, they would never pick up, had to call every number we could find to try to get the grill. The exterior light bulb also wasn't working and it was just so hard to speak to somebody who could help. The numbers we called, were always saying that they would call us back with a resolution. 4 days with no pool heat, grill or exterior back lights.

Summer Vacation 2021

We really enjoyed our week at Providence. Our kids and grands had a great time. Enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the pond from the pool. Would surely like to visit again.

Amazing property

The property was amazing. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. We had so much fun at the game room. The pool and the spa were great, and the view was beautiful. Everything was clean and neat. We enjoyed the stay! Wishing to come back again.

Nice

This was a few nice property. Our group had plenty of space. The pool was awesome. Only issues were there was the AC was not working properly the first night. That was the main negative about the stay. Repairman can the next day and it got fixed. The rooms were clean and neat.
