Arrived to find NUMEROUS worms, cockroaches and other unidentified bugs. Sent host a message and have received zero response. We left and had to find somewhere else to stay last minute. This was over a week ago and still no response.

Disappointed

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property. The first time was AMAZING, same with the second. However this last trip was not. We messaged the owner/manager about there being absolutely no towels and still have not got a response. The very last day my husband went to do a load of laundry and opened the dryer and there were smelly towels, not sure if they had been washed and not dried by cleaners? Then the over all cleanliness was not up to usual standards throughout the property. There was trash in the stairwell that sat there for almost our entire 11 day stay, food left in hallways, kids throwing donuts at each other and those donuts stayed on the floor getting walked on and ignored for about 5 days. We reached out multiple times and never got any reply. To say we were disappointed is honestly an understatement, we look forward to staying at LBVSR every other year and in 27 when we come back we might look into a different property.

Everything great... except check in.

Kevin was quick to answer any questions. The rooms were clean and neat. Loved the corner unit. The key location was an issue, and it never worked. All other information was accurate and helpful. We did attempt to vacuum the floors, but we couldn't get the vacuum to work for us... probably our fault.

You get what you pay for

For the positives: the price was very reasonable, and the location to the theme parks was great. It was about a 20 min drive to universal— really easy. For the not so positives: upon check in, there was no way to get into the building, and when we reached out for assistance, we were told to just wait for someone else to exit so we could access the building… that seems unreasonable to me. We were standing outside for over 20 min before someone left (with our luggage and small kids). Then the second day, the cards to access the building stopped working and again we couldn’t get in. When we reached out for assistance, we were told they couldn’t be fixed until Monday (when we were scheduled for check out). As the renter, we should have had a reliable way to access the condo. The condo itself was very outdated. It appeared clean but there was a very musty smell throughout the condo. We wouldn’t stay here again, but I will say, if you’re looking for something close to parks and reasonable price, go for it. Just have a plan for if you get locked out.

Communication was good. I needed to extend my stay just after booking and I was accommodated and notified within a short time. The place is a little dated and needs a facelift. It could use a paint job, new furniture and carpets. But it wasn’t anything that affected our stay and it didn’t ruin or damper our vacation. We spend most of our time out and about so the rooms are Basically Used to sleep shower and eat. When I first got there you could definitely tell from The smell that the rooms were cleaned and I like that.

Decent place to stay, close to everything Orlando

Decent place to stay for the price, could definitely use a few upgrades though. The shower in the master bath has no curtain or door so water does leak out into the whole bathroom area, we laid towels down to soak it up. The shower in the other bathroom barely has pressure. The handle on the kitchen sink needs to be replaced or at least a screw pin put in, it works but is very loose and needs to be turned off to change water temp. The washer is really loud, only use if you won’t be there. All the furniture is at the end of its life so hopefully owner replaces soon, the one chair in tv area, my teen sat in, I thought was going to break-she weighs all of 110lbs. While it could use the upgrades this place was clean, with plenty of space, check in process was super easy-no lobby interaction involved, and super close to all things Disney, Universal, airport and convention center.

Not returning

I try to always be optimistic but not with this property. The resort itself and staff are wonderful. We have stayed here many times. This unit however was not wonderful. The back burners smoke on the oven and the door is broken so can not use. the unit smells terribly of musk, There is a dehumidifier in the living room we emptied non stop during our stay. The kitchen sink handle barely works. The twin bedroom smelled of urine , the sheets smelled of sweat with urine stain on one. The mattress cover stained with urine and blood. The TV is probably a 19 inch in the living room. Furniture is very wobbly. We were given one key card for all of us and when it quit working waited to the end of the next day to get it resolved. Luckily the resort staff was so helpful to us. We would have asked for money back if we could have. Knowing the other units we stayed in were so nice and kept up well , we knew what we were missing.

Great weekend getaway in Orlando

Nice place and a great location for the theme parks. Condo was large enough for 6 adults and teenagers. There is food, convenience store, and pool within 2 minutes walk. Took 10 minutes to drive to Disney and less than 20 to Universal. Well worth the money. thanks

Get what you pay for!

I feel like I am a very positive person and try to look at things on the bright side but this place was very hard for me to find that. Where to start? The bathrooms/bathtubs were disgusting and not cleaned. After ready to relax on vacation, deep cleaning toilets and bathtubs was the last thing I wanted to do for my children. After doing this, I realized the only place I could bathe my little ones was in the jacuzzi tub, because the tub in the other doesn’t even have the drain in it. There were clothes and later found trash under the beds/dressers. The beds were half way made with pillows on the floor. There was nothing but cigarette butts all over the balcony. My family of five could only sit on the mid size couch in the living room because the other seats they had are very wobbly and could break at any moment sitting on it. Coffee table is on its last leg also! All of the AC vents are full thick of black dust. The walls have what looked like food all over them! I would have asked for my money back and found another place last minute but could not due to policy. No covering over the light in the only shower that we could shower in which is so unsafe. After complaining of a few things to Kevin he was extremely nice and responsive but I stopped because either way I couldn’t get my money back. I wish I could upload pics of this all but not an option. 90$ a night I thought this was a steal with there being so many good reviews, but we definitely got what we paid for if not less!

So close to Disney

We had a great stay. The pool area outside the condo was quite and never busy, It was so nice after a long day at the parks. Our flight was delayed getting in so I was worried about getting into the condo, but after a message with Kevin and a call to the front desk we made it in no problem.

Nice family condo

Close to many attractions in Orlando. Condo sufficient for our weeks stay. Got response from property manager quickly- about a lobby key card to enter the property-one didn’t work but was fixed right away. Property was clean and had the basics stocked. The property has 2 pools, hot tubs, a restaurant-pool bar, convenience store and on site Pizza Hut. Would stay here again

Great Room for the price

We were close to everything and our son really enjoyed the pirate ship pool. Room had everything we needed and the Pizza Hut on site came in handy as we ate there multiple times. We would definitely stay here again if we ever have to go back to the area!

Had to cut our stay short

Overall, this property might be just fine for you. The owners are quick to respond and tried their best to be proactive about any issues. However, our youngest has asthma and shortly after arriving he needed to start doing his breathing treatments. We had noticed a musty smell when we would walk into the unit but thought maybe the AC had been off since the previous renters. We were hoping that he would be alright but by night 2 he needed to go to the emergency room where he required hours of treatments and they recommended we do not take him back. We ended up having to last minute rent a new place for the remainder of our stay which thankfully ended up working great for him. Aside from this place not working for our family, the place was clean, plenty of towels, the beds were fine, and the pool was very neat (side note we were told it was heated--we stayed in Feb--and it was freezing cold). When checking in you have no way into the building aside from waiting for another guest to open the doors for you. Thankfully at our arrival time there was plenty of traffic in and out however our keys to the building were not working and we had to wait until the next day to get them re-set. When we went to the pool that first evening we had to wait 15 min outside wet and cold before someone finally left the building letting us inside. Again not the end of the world but certainly could be an issue depending on what time you plan to arrive. There were other little things that could easily be fixed like the master bedroom door and bathroom did not lock and the shower has no curtain so privacy is difficult. The master shower has an open and exposed light fixture in the ceiling over the shower- dangerous for sure. Lastly due to the shower having no curtain, the bathroom floor gets very wet. We had to line the whole master bathroom with towels so we didn't slip. Would I say never stay here, no it could be fine for you, but if anyone has asthma I would skip it--not worth the pain to my son, the time lost, and the money we lost on skipping out on the remainder of out stay there as per the refund policy we were not refunded anything. **I have never left a review like this, but wish that someone else had because we would have known that this place would not work for us. **

Easy to work with

When we first arrived the air conditioning wasn't working but the property manager had someone come and get it back going. Unfortunately it went out a 2nd time but I contacted the manager and he sent the guys back out and we stayed cool the rest of our trip.

Family Time

This is a great location!! Owner is awesome at responding quickly!! Only thing is you don’t get the front door key in advance. We had to wait for another group to enter and explain the situation. But who know in the future they can get key’s early?! Perfect location for Disney and the grocery store!!

Good for the money/easy to access

The condo unit we stayed in was clean and spacious, there were many small updates/fixes that could be done to make this a really wonderful place instead of average. For example, not all outlets worked, only 1 burner on the stove worked, lots of dust in vent on wall right next to kitchen table and on the walls up to ceilings, old shower heads. The location was great, unit next to a quite pool and only 10 minute drive to Disney and many other locations. Front desk staff helpful. The pools state they are heated, they aren't (at least they weren't when we were there in January, too cold to swim if it was shady out) and jets on the hot tubs didn't work.
