Situated on the Neuse River where it meets the Pamlico Sound, the community’s waterfront location provides deep-water access to the nearby Intracoastal Waterway, coastal towns, cruising destinations and anchorages.

I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. My only negative about this space was that the water was not really cold in the shower. I know that sounds like a first world problem but when you have a sunburn the only thing you want is cold water.

Nicely decorated single bed cabin. Only issue was had to call maintenence to light gas logs in fireplace. Also community gas grill not functional. Ended up eating 2 delicious dinners at the marina restaurant just 300 feet away.the 2 nights there. The whole community was picturesque.
