The staff and property are special. The location is peaceful, clean and quiet, but within a short walk are beaches, excellent restaurants, and all one need for a memorable vacation.

Orient beach is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants, grocery stores and the beautiful beach within a 5 min walk.

Driveway and parking area almost impossible to use - steep and no turnaround space. Frig rusty and dented. Table on deck had paint peeling.

The property is extremely nice and is the staff. Rooms are set up, 3 suites to a building, so it's almost like having your own bungalow. Doors to the deck have no exterior handles so while you can go out and sit on your deck you can't close the door to your room which might be why the beds are covered with mosquito netting.

Clean and secure property. Relatively close to a very nice beach and access to many restaurants. Staff are helpful. What we enjoyed less are the problem with the running water and the limited cookware set in the kitchen. We had water outage on regular basis and the water was not drinkable.

Rustig hotel met ruime kamers met groot terras. Ontbijt was heerlijk, vriendelijk personeel. Wel een aantal keren problemen gehad met het feit dat er geen leidingwater was (duurde soms uren), maar dat is niet het probleem van het hotel, maar van St Martin (slechte watervoorziening).

Bedankt dat u de tijd heeft genomen om ons hotel te beoordelen. We zijn blij dat u tevreden bent met de geleverde diensten. Helaas is de waterverdeling aan de franse kant van het eiland erg slecht, maar ze doen hun best om dit te verbeteren. Ondanks dit ongemak hopen wij u in de toekomst weer te mogen verwelkomen in het hotel.

Overall is "not bad". It could be much better with some attention and care. The location is not ideal if you don't have a car. The walking to the village is on a road without walking path. There are things in the hotel that are new but dirty or broken (broken cups, dirty counter in the restaurant, dirty curtains and shower tiles in the room). Flowers around the pool are not well taking care of.

Very well located hotel
Our stay was great! The location can't be beat in Orient Bay: a very short walk to all the beach clubs and restaurants. Free breakfast buffet. A very nice perk is that, even though the hotel is not on the beach, you get free beach chairs at most beach clubs in Orient Bay as a guest of the hotel.

The property is very well maintained and the upper level rooms, 800s and 900s, have a superb view over Orient Village and of the Bay. The staff, in particular the breakfast, dinner and maid service, were friendly and attentive.

We love this location and this resort. It’s perfect ! Views are amazing and walking to orient beach is exactly what we want. The unit we were in this year needs a bit of updating but it’s super clean .

My wife and I had an excellent stay at Hotel La Plantation. The location is excellent with a short with a short walk to Orient Beach, and access to several other good restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff was very helpful, particularly with helping us print a couple of documents. They have a great buffet breakfast.

We arrived without my wife’s suitcase. Swade could not have been more helpful and indeed finally found when it would arrive from Air France. Taxis were organised for us, the breakfast was varied and plentiful with smiling staff. We used Bikini Beach every day and they also deserve a well done

It was my 2nd time staying at La Plantation. Its super clean and private with a great view. They gave me the exact same apt. I had 2 years prior. I was very happy with that villa. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was they told me I got a free breakfast everyday but the restaurant said she was mistaken and my reservation didn't include breakfast. They let me eat that day so everything was fine. Staff is friendly and they rent cars at the property so that's very convenient.

Comfortable rooms and resort. Staff so helpful, nothing is a problem. Breakfast and dinner both really good. Be great if the pool bar could be open longer, but not a major issue.
