This comfortable basement apartment offers a private and convenient space to relax between adventures. The home has its own dedicated furnace and HVAC system, so the temperature downstairs is completely independent from the upstairs living space. You won’t be sharing a heating or cooling system with the occupants above, allowing you to keep the apartment comfortable during your stay.

You’ll also have fast fiber internet, making it easy to stream, browse, work remotely, or stay connected while enjoying your mountain getaway.

Whether you enjoy an easy morning walk, a scenic hike, trail running, mountain biking, or simply getting outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air, you’ll find plenty of opportunities nearby. The surrounding foothills are especially beautiful as the scenery changes throughout the seasons.

Beyond the trails, you’re perfectly positioned to explore everything Orem and the surrounding Utah Valley have to offer. Spend the day hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, visit local parks, enjoy shopping and restaurants, or head into nearby Provo for even more dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation.
BYU and Utah Valley University are both nearby, making this a convenient location for visiting family, attending events, or exploring the campuses. Utah Lake is also close by for boating, paddleboarding, fishing, sunsets, and relaxing by the water.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is a private basement apartment with a lovely family living in the upstairs portion of the home. The apartment is completely separate and has its own private entrance, so you’ll have your own space throughout your stay. A cat lives upstairs; however, the basement has its own dedicated HVAC system, separate from the upstairs, to help minimize the transfer of allergens between spaces.
The Sundance Mountain Retreat does not have a long list of rules, we simply ask that our guests respect our home. No parties, no smoking/vaping inside, no loud music, and respect the space.

Absolutely no smoking in the property! You must be at least 25 feet away from the property to smoke. Any violations will result in a 500$ fee.

Please no animals. There is a severe allergy.
