It’s not the fanciest place around but that’s what makes it cool. It’s got a rustic feel to it but in a good way. The staff was awesome! They do use an app for the door locks but will happily give you a key card if you ask.
The little bar/restaurant in the lobby makes pizzas… tried 2 different ones and was quite happy with both. They seem to have a decent drink selections as well. The guys running it were awesome and friendly and even offered to bring the pizzas to my room if I wanted.
They offer s’mores kits in every room and have fire pits in the courtyard to use along with sticks for the marshmallows. They have probably around 400+ dvds to choose from in the amenities room along with coffee, ice, cups, wine glasses, even appeared to be a free washer and dryer to use (I think it was free to use… not 100% sure though haha).
Coolest part for me was the TV asks when you’re checking out, you let it know the day, and then it tells you that all apps and passwords will be deleted at 11am on checkout day so you can use your own apps on the tv… NEVER seen that before even in fancy hotels! Thought that was really cool!
Bed was comfy, towels were nice and fluffy. There’s little stations in the hallways with extra towels and stuff if you need them. I got one of the Staterooms in the main building. They offer cabins as well in the courtyard. Cool little place on the coast. Can’t wait to come back here!
