Orchard Park Forest Retreat
We traveled back home to spend time with family for the holiday. Our host graciously allowed us to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family at the property and all loved their time there. It is a great house, with fantastic architecture and appointments. Everything was exactly as advertised and if we need a large space in Western New York again, we will certainly look this place up again!

Mixed Bag
Large house with lots of interesting decor and plenty of areas to spread out. Pretty grounds and walking paths to/from the ponds. Comfortable beds and plenty of kitchen space to prepare meals. Plenty of restaurants with friendly locals and good food/beer. On the downside- 1. Cleanliness could be improved (sheets on 1 bed dirty, food debris on floors in other rooms 2. Kitchen extremely disorganized 3. Had to unload dishwasher 4. Some dishes/utensils in cabinets were dirty with crusted food 5. Upstairs bathroom did not offer toiletries 6. No tissues offered in home 7. Used plastic cups with liquid in them on table at deck 8. Clear indication that a family lives in this house, vacates when rented out (priority UPS packages delivered to house during our stay) 9. Listing stated check out at 11 but property manager messaged us an earlier time frame on day of check out, asking when we were vacating premises 10. While our family was packing up the morning of check out, our family member was startled with noises in garage and found a man riffling through garage items before our check out time. This list may portray us as complainers however we are not of that caliber. For the rental price of this home the basics of a proper house hosting should be priority.

Great place to stay with kids. Central location.
Loved our stay. The house was a cool layout and had an amazing property. Great home if you have kids as they had a lot of toys and a great bed for a toddler. The location was really good too. Very close to a lot of places we needed to go.

Perfect woodland hideaway. Like an artist’s retreat!
This home is amazing. The property is incredible. The artwork and decor are worthwhile themselves! The indoors was pristine. Four rather than five because the decks and exterior really needed to be swept and have webs knocked down. But we were there pre-memorial day. Don’t expect to be able to unpack, the owner’s things fill all the space. But that means you’re also getting a super comfy and well-equipped home. I could live there! I love the property. I deducted a star simply because it’s not near anything. So come here if you want to be in nature, not for convenience. Definitely a car dependent location. I woke every morning to watching bees flit in the purple Rhodies blooming just outside the bedroom window. Very soulful space. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for the review. We had the decks cleaned and cleared for the summer just after your stay. We also had our landscapers come through to make the grounds even more enjoyable. We are only 15-20 minutes from the city of Buffalo and less than 10 minutes to area beaches, major grocers, restaurants, etc. we wish that you had asked us for recommendations, we have plenty. The area really is convenient to a lot even though it feels secluded and tucked away.
