"The property was amazing and any minor issue we had. They were right there to fix it. The island was welcoming, as well as just the right amount of quiet and slow down that we were looking for. I recommend anybody needing to detach disconnect to enjoy property for a couple of days or even longer. The hospitality was amazing. We will be back."

"Situated on a point with water on two sides of the expansive property, the setting was amazing. The house is a mid-century ranch that has been thoroughly updated. We had lousy weather, so we did not get to enjoy the large water-side deck and firepit, but even the indoor views of the water from the kitchen-den area were wonderful."

Tom and Mette’s cottage is a slice of Heaven on the Northern Neck - a rustic but very liveable, well equipped and comfortable home that reminded me of vacations at the shore with my grandparents decades ago. "Sunrise Point was beautiful! The description and the pictures of the property are spot on. The property owners provided specific details about the property and the area itself prior to us arriving, which was extremely helpful. Many thanks! The weather was perfect for fishing during the day and enjoying a fire in the fire pit in the evening. The house was clean and well appointed! A true “R and R” retreat! "The beds were very very comfortable. The rooms were very large and plenty of natural light throughout the home. The kitchen was large and cozy. The furnace kept the home very toasty upstairs and down. The bathrooms were very nice and modern. "We loved this quiet property, right on the water. The house was clean and perfect for my mom and me. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was stocked with a lot of stuff. Towels for the beach were provided, along with chairs for sitting on the beach. There is a rinse off area in the back of the house, but to turn the water on you have to go in front of the house. I absolutely would return. "
