"This was an excellent place to stay in Opatija, right on the water with easy access to swim in the sea, but also with an indoor pool (opening glass ceiling for nice weather) for gloomy days. Easy access to walking through town and restaurants. Amazing breakfast buffet with a variety of foods, very service oriented staff along with a prosecco greeting at check in. Rooms we updated and clean. Can't recommend enough."
"This is a very remote area, so it was extremely peaceful and beautiful. Food options are well over 20 mi or more away. It is off season, a lot of places around were closed, including the nature activities. If you are looking for a serene retreat this if your place, I would have loved to use the pool but it was out of season. Beautiful traditional stone house."
"Everything was perfect – stunning location with great views, just a short walk from Motovun. Fantastic wine and tastings.
The only downside was that our gourmet experience was forgotten, and with only one waiter the service fell short. They did apologise and offered a discount the next day.
Overall, a wonderful hotel we’d gladly return to, though they definitely need more staff to match the high standard."
