"Okay the room was on the smaller side. But having said that it was nice and I’d stay there again. The food and drink in the bar was good, and served like we were in BA First Class. A serious touch of elegance. "

"Take yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat."

"The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside.
The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air...

"All was great, but I must say that the breakfast was not made that good. But it was a nice stay, and I would probably go here again.
The dinner was OK, I had fish and chips. The fish was a bit overcooked, and the chips were good on the outside but dry on the inside.
With slightly better food, this would be 5 stars for the price"
"Very effective and friendly staff in the reception. Lovely spa and roof top pool. Nice and tasty breakfast.
No laundry service available during weekends. Housekeeping did not replace towels and basics. Bathrobes were worn out (holes).
