The luxurious and contemporary Villa Grecale is one of two identical next door villas overlooking the sea at Marusici village on the glorious Omis Riviera. The villas are heavenly bases for a Croatian holiday with outstanding living and outdoor spaces and superior in-villa wellness facilities. The villa sleeps 8 in luxurious comfort with four stunning bedroom suites, though you can use the double sofa bed. Marusici is a delightful, tranquil village 12km south of Omis, 40km south of Split and north of Makarska. It is located in the foothills of Omiska Dinara Mountain, offering a beautiful landscape. With glorious sand and pebble beach surrounded by fragrant pine trees and close to the amazing Cetina River and the Biokovo Mountain, Villa Grecale enjoys a splendid location with much to see and do.

Villa Grecale boasts incredible, contemporary architecture, fabulous interior design, beautiful colour schemes and a sensational home automation system. Everything is current, swanky, trendy and high-end. There is underfloor heating throughout, an elevator connecting all three floors, and three of the dreamy bedroom suites enjoy their own private furnished terrace. In addition to the private, heated 18m x 3.8m swimming pool with its sensational hydromassage bench, guests can use the exquisite wellness suite on the ground floor. It includes a luxurious hydromassage jacuzzi for 6, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath cabin, an experience shower and a well-equipped gym. The gym boasts a multifunction workout machine, a treadmill and a stationary bicycle. The suite is contemporary and beautiful, with only the best of everything. It is such a treat! There is access from the wellness suite to a large loggia with quality loungers. The ground floor also has a double bedroom. 

The second level of this extraordinary villa offers sumptuous open plan living, bedrooms and a swimming pool. The level of attention to detail to Villa Grecale is truly impressive. You cannot fail to be wowed! You will enjoy swanky sofas and gorgeous wooden cabinetry opposite the enormous television to one side of the living space. On the other, the designer kitchen and dining area is a chef’s dream. With top-notch appliances, you can cook a feast that you can enjoy along with breathtaking views. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the room with light and offer a sensational panorama and access to the pool, deck and balcony. The modern fireplace is an excellent feature. Guests are invited to use the luxury sofabed. PS4 is also available for your enjoyment. Outside, the swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious deck with beautiful loungers, an outdoor lounge corner facing the pool and an outdoor shower. From the sun deck, you can approach each of the three private terraces and bedrooms. 

The bedrooms on the second level are all master suites with luxurious beds where you will enjoy the sleep of kings, televisions, access to furnished private terraces and glorious en-suite bathrooms. Two rooms enjoy king size beds, and the third boasts two single beds which can be connected to form one huge bed. Two of the bathrooms enjoy baths and showers, and the twin en-suite offers a shower. The bathrooms are fabulous with superior, prestigious fittings which will entice you to linger. 

The third extraordinary level is the rooftop terrace with its outdoor dining area, a barbecue and a lounge area with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the islands of Brac and Hvar. There is a kitchenette with a fridge so that you can enjoy drinks without having to pop downstairs. It is a fabulously romantic spot where you can enjoy the panorama and later the twinkling stars in the sky.

Location:

Marusici is a lovely, tranquil village between Omis and Makarska. With gorgeous, clear, shallow water, the beach is perfect for families and the village, a delight for those wanting a quiet holiday amongst beautiful landscapes and seascapes. With a sleepy Dalmatian atmosphere, beautiful pine woods and the sounds of cicadas and the sea waves, visitors will relax and unwind. The village boasts a grocery shop, several cafe bars and restaurants serving delicious Dalmatian dishes. With the Cetina River close by, visitors enjoy thrilling river activities and gourmet dining and fabulous nightlife in Omis and Makarska. You can also explore the mountain areas and the Biokovo Natural Park.  

Just down the coast towards Makarska is the delightful, historical village of Baska Voda. It is small and peaceful with a port and a popular beach. Once a humble fishing village, its beach, pine woods and lovely setting have made it a favourite with families. Numerous souvenir shops, friendly cafes and cosy restaurants line the pretty promenade, filled with the sound of music and laughter. The quaint villages of Bast and Topic are known for their artisanal cheese, prosciutto and bread. You will also enjoy Promajna and the little fisherman’s village of Bratus.

Omis is known as the City of Pirates, situated at the mouth of the Cetina River. The town is home to many churches, the 13th century Fortress Mirabella and the 15th-century Fortress Starigrad, excellent shops and a renowned selection of gourmet restaurants serving fresh, locally caught fish and speciality smoked ham. The Klapa Festival in summer is a wonderful event with Capella singing in churches and squares in the old town. 

For an action-packed adventure, you can head to the Cetina River. The amazing calcareous canyon is the ideal place for canyoning, with its cliff face reaching up to 180 metres and a warren of tunnels, waterfalls and lakes. Extreme canyoning with experienced instructors and professional alpine gear involves descending the Gubavica Waterfall. You can also challenge yourselves on the incredible zipline that crosses the canyon 150 metres off the ground. For something more sedate, you can paddle down the pretty river in canoes or kayaks, enjoying the breathtaking natural scenery and perhaps a picnic by the side of the river. Just north of the village of Justice, you can ride in giant inflatable doughnuts and descend the small river rapids. Starting at Pensici and finishing at Radmanove Mlinice, you can have a day to remember family white water rafting. You can also soar high above the river and town from Imber on a paragliding trip.

The beautiful buildings in Split look as though they have just emerged from a fantasy novel. The town combines honeycombs of these intricate historical buildings with a cosmopolitan, palm-lined promenade offering tourists a fabulous experience. The atmospheric, narrow streets are brimming with dramatic monuments, charming restaurants, cafes, bars and a good variety of shops.
