The Space:

Apple Lodge is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath family home tucked among the trees in Olympia. Built in 1995, it’s been part of the same family for over 30 years, lovingly handcrafted with thoughtful details throughout. Every corner tells a story — from the custom woodwork to the beautifully designed fireplace and mantle, the true heart of the home where comfort and craftsmanship meet.



The apple tree in the front yard was planted for the owner’s son’s first birthday, and every fall, its apples still find their way into homemade cider, a sweet reminder of the care and history rooted in this special place.



Inside, the home feels both cozy and open. The living room has comfortable seating and an indoor fireplace (battery candles only), perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen has been freshly updated with new countertops, a modern refrigerator and dishwasher, and all the basics you need for easy meals at home. The dining table seats four, with extra chairs available in each bedroom, and the kitchen bar seats two for casual breakfasts or coffee chats.



Upstairs, the spacious primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, peaceful views of the surrounding trees, and a jet tub for relaxing soaks. Just outside the bedroom, the loft offers a comfy couch, TV, workout bench, weights, and a full-length mirror — all overlooking the living room below with beautiful views of the backyard and pond.



Downstairs, you’ll find two queen bedrooms, each with a full closet and writing desk. The Apple Room overlooks the backyard and pond, while the Sunshine Room offers views of the front yard, forest, and porch. Each bedroom is designed to be calm, comfortable, and welcoming. A full bathroom is also located downstairs.



Step outside to enjoy the covered back porch, which features a BBQ area, lounge chairs, and an outdoor dining table — perfect for relaxed gatherings or quiet mornings surrounded by the sounds of nature. Beyond the porch, you’ll find a pickleball/basketball court (open seasonally from May through September) and a large open field, great for a friendly game of soccer or flag football (equipment available seasonally).



Be sure to explore the five acres of private forest, complete with peaceful walking trails, a seasonal stream, and a pond with a waterfall. You’ll discover majestic trees, lush ferns, and abundant wildlife throughout the property — the perfect setting to reconnect with nature and unwind.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the home and property, including the covered BBQ porch, lounge area, pickleball/basketball court (seasonally), and open fields. Free parking is available in the gravel lot next to the house.



Please note: the pond and waterfall area are beautiful but must be enjoyed safely. Children should be supervised at all times near the water, and climbing or throwing objects into the pond is strictly not allowed.



The Neighborhood:

Apple Lodge sits in a peaceful, wooded area that feels like a true getaway while still being close to everything. West Olympia’s shops, restaurants, and parks are just a few minutes away, and downtown Olympia is an easy 10-minute drive. Whether you’re exploring nature trails, grabbing coffee in town, or taking a scenic day trip, everything is within easy reach.

Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring the area. Parking is available for up to three vehicles in the driveway.



Other Things to Note:

No smoking or pets are allowed, and we ask that guests remove their shoes (or wear clean ones) inside the home. Please keep noise to a minimum after 9 PM to respect the quiet surroundings and our friendly neighbors.



The fireplace is decorative only — battery-operated candles are provided for that cozy evening glow.



When it’s time to tidy up, please hand wash the wine glasses, sharp and wooden-handled knives, and any wooden utensils. Only dishwasher-safe items should go in the dishwasher.



The jacuzzi-style tub upstairs is a wonderful spot to relax. You’ll find simple instructions next to it — just be sure to fill the water above the jets before turning them on, and skip the bubble bath or salts while it’s running to keep the jets in good shape.
