I had a comfortable 1 night stay. Place feels old and makes a bit of noise. It had everything a couple needs to be comfortable. Den Powder Hut Ohakune
The cottage was pretty much as expected and we had a good stay. Although the hot chocolate was a much appreciated bonus!

Mountain House located in central Ohakune
Good big bedrooms and bunk room .. very spacious upstairs and wonderful views of the mountain .. great location to access the town and mountain .. it had everything you could want.. the communications with the host was excellent.
