"Det der trækker ned på vurderingen er, at værelset ikke var rent (langs væggene ved sengen) og så var sengens madras alt for dårlig, faktisk den eneste på vores 3 uger lang ferie. Det med renligheden har vi faktisk også konstateret på et andet Best Western, men overhovedet ikke på de andre hoteller vi har været på. Og hvis I kan sige det til Hotellet - så få den kommode/skab med TV'et i ud af værelset. Det fylder alt for meget og gør ingen nytte og få så TV'et op på vægen i stedet for....

Cigarette smoke in bathroom from ventilation shaft (even though it is a non-smoking hotelroom), meaning someone else smoked in a bathroom and the smoke travelled to our bathroom via ventilation shaft, hotel could do nothing about it."

"Not impressed by Security protokol, after a city tour my key did not work.
Reception staff said my room was on another flor, I disagree but godt a key, it turned out someone else was in that room.
Back in reception security escorted me to my room, but then they wanted me in a new room after some time got one, however this was also not empty, at this point I was not happy- 35 minutes later I got the fourth room! "The hotel is located in the perfect central area for walkability to every thing. The Reading Market is next door with lots of amazing food options. The Jefferson Septa train Station is a half block away for those taking the train to/from the airport.
The beds are very comfortable with high quality linens. The shower was great and had Kind brand products.
I didn't eat in the restaurant but I did get a food order to take back to my room and it was delicious!"

However we had issues with plumbing in our room - both the sink and shower were clogged and water wasn’t running down properly. Also we found a large bundle of hair in the shower floating. Though we complained about it at the reception, nothing happened and we found it again after a day of sightseeing and after the housekeeping make our room. We had to complain again to get it...

"The location of The Notary is excellent and convenient. The staff was mostly excellent; the only exception being the valet was somewhat rude to my husband when we checked out. Unfortunate since we are normally excellent tippers. The coffee maker in the room didn't work very well but we just got our coffee downstairs at the wonderful coffee shop.
The bar was great and had friendly bartenders. The restaurant was decent.
