"The pool and tiki bar were great, although the bartenders were kinda rude. The breakfast was not the best, oversalted or stale. The waffle, yogurt and cereal were ok though. Our hotel room was pretty dingy and we were told we would get room service only every other day but they didn't come once."

"We loved it and everything was wonderful. Staff very accommodating, clean room with comfortable beds, clean pool and great location. Only complaint wouId be noisy upstairs neighbors earlynm in morning.This is something that could happen anywhere with running kids above you.. you could stay on 3rd flr but know there is no elevator. There are only 3 designated pet allowed rooms which are on first floor and why we did. I would definitely stay there again! So nice and good price for right on the...

"Beach view was amazing. The staff was pleasant to speak with and extremely helpful. The only downside was the balcony could probably be renovated along with the a/c unit. I don’t regret the decision at all to stay here, money well spent."

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the convenient beach and parking access couldn’t be beat. Although it’s an older property, it was well-kept, charming, and an excellent value. "We enjoyed our stay with 2 of our grandkids. We enjoyed the beach and Southport. We took a ferry ride to Fort Fisher. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was a hit."

"The hotel is nice clean and the beds were comfortable. Had issues with the thermostat but we fixed it. The breakfast buffet is good. Waffles eggs bacon sausage bagels biscuits and more. Coffee offered all day and delicious. We will stay again."

"We have stayed here several times! However, the pool wasn’t maintained properly and had turned somewhat green! Out of the three days we were there, we could only use it one day! A little disappointing for a visit at this location!"
