"such a cute space and everyone was super sweet and helpful!"

"Good location and friendly front desk."

"Was picked up at the station even if the hotel is only 5 minutes walk downhill! The staff was awesome and they started giving me 5 local beers as welcome guest. There two onsen out- and indside were charming, especially downstairs with a view to the mountains…"

The staff and management were especially helpful and more importantly they were sincere. Their recommendations were fantastic. Manazuru is a lovely, manageable, not over saturated town with limited tourist influence and it might be hard to find a better place to stay than this one. It can be viewed as expensive but in Japan you pay for what you get and the value was fantastic. ...

"Absolut fantastisk hotel! "

"We loved this Hotel! By far the best accommodations we had on our trip to Japan, and for that matter, most of our trips abroad! The room was great, especially the indoor/outdoor soaking tub. The specialized dinner and breakfast were great, a fantastic true Japanese dining experience. We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and before our room was ready. We had heard that Hakone was known for Soba and inquired about a restaurant recommendation. Our host smiled and in broken english said...
