"This hotel has it all. It is in a fantastic location. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and if you have a room on the ground floor you can get a small terrace. The breakfast is good and you get the best coffee."

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was pretty, clean and situated in calm surroundings and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. They served a delicious complimentary breakfast of our own choosing. The only small downside was that it was a bit far to walk to the city center since the bamboo bridge was closed due to construction. Personalet var særdeles hjælpsom, da der var problemer med flybilletter og har stor andel i at problemet blev løst. Stille område. Alt i alt et dejligt sted. Meget anbefalelsesværdigt."

"If you want to stay in the heart of Luang Prabang, Indigo House couldn’t be a better choice! The night market begins at the foot of the hotel and is perfectly situated next to both the shopping and food stalls of the night market. Rooms facing the market are noisy until 10 PM when the market shuts down and then it is extremely peaceful. The staff is amazing and the food available in the cafe is incredible. The rooms are somewhat dated but very comfortable and clean. "

"It was a great stay at Cold River. The staff made us feel very welcome and at home. They very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located nicely if you are ready for a little walk to get to the center of Luang Prabang (maybe 10-15 min. walk). It is nice that it is more by itself - quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast. The only thing was the hard pillows - but minor detail."

When showering the water stayed on the floor instead of going down the drain immediately. The staff provided lots of extra towels to soak it up though. "
