"Our best stay in South Africa by far.
We stayed for 6 days. So sad to leave.
Sandy looked after us and nothing was too much trouble.
Our spacious room opened onto a terrace overlooking a beautiful pool and garden area.
A great breakfast. Staff were excellent always smiling, in a great leafy quiet residential area and only a 5 minute walk to many shops and restaurants.
We will be back when we return to South Africa "

Jeg kan kun anke over følgende:
1) en bordlampe på værelset virkede ikke. Jeg kontaktede receptionen herom 3 gange, men ikke skete,
2) vanskeligt at få håndklæder ved pool'en, måtte vente længe.
3) hotellets berømte curry buffet var en skuffelse! 3 slags slasket og udkogt kød, incl. fiskestykker, som stod opvarmede i store kasseroller virkede / smagte bestemt ikke spændende - til trods for at 5-6 kokke stod inaktive bag...
"The Flamingo Lodge was great! Just a few minutes walk to Umhlanga Rocks beach and the famous Whale Bone pier. Surprisingly, it is really close to the Umhlanga action and restaurants, but peaceful inside. The Staff was great, they were quick to do anything that needed doing and had access or instructions for the various activities in the area. They even helped out with the 2 year. I will certainly stay again!"

"We had a lovely couple of nights stay. It’s a great location for visiting Umhlanga, everyone was lovely and the accommodation was extremely comfortable with a lovely lounge at the top of the property, with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend and will stay again when next visiting"
