"There is little soundproofing between rooms and every step can be heard from the room upstairs and next to us. We could hear every step from above and also conversations that prevented us from getting much sleep. We were also woken early by guests in the room next door who entertained guests on the porch and took chairs from our porch without regard for us in the room next to them. "Look up restaurant and store hours of operation. There was a store we wanted to revisit, only to relise it was closed the day we had planned to revisit. Some restaurants are closed in the middle of the week as well."

"This was a beautiful property about a mile and a half outside of town, so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had generous bathrobes too use. I would stay here again the next time I am on San Juan Island!"

"Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice."

"Unique hotel with some quirks. Great location, walkable to downtown and all the restaurants. Staff is friendly and responsive. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed in a room that had a shared bathroom; and it seemed like quite a few of the rooms were sharing. One of the showers has not very much room and the curtain really hugs you."

"I saw some pretty horrific reviews of this place and got scared that i was going to show up and have to immediately leave. HOW WRONG THEY WERE!! This ppace is quaint and a little older, but it was clean and comfortable and safe. The only thing that i would complain about is that there is O marina view. Idk where they took those pictures, but it wasnt this hotel lol i had a giant tree in front of my window and coulsnt see anything. There may be ONE room that can see the marina in the whole...
