Great hotel!
Great hotel overall. Room was big and comfortable. The balcony was great although we couldn't use it too much because we had a storm one night. The storm knocked out our TV feed which was unfortunate but it was quickly resolved. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of items. Staff was extremely friendly. If I had any gripes about the hotel, was the towels. I like them to be a little thicker than they were. Overall, a very nice hotel in a great location!

Solid place to stay
Overall, very nice place. No refrigerator. But had a vending machine with everything from beer, wine to snacks. Restaurant is very good and yheir staff is great. Sauna is good, but could use towels available. You had to bring from your room and rent a robe. I would recommend staying here. I probably will again.

Great staff and really nice property. My wife injured her knee skiing and while we didn't get a refund for having to end our trip early, they gave us a gift certificate for the day night we couldn't stay. More than expected from a Hotel!!

We walked to town and ate at the hotel patio. Had drinks outside and watched fireworks.

Fantastic trip

Don't stay here!
Wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone. The room was small, the drains didn't drain, the tub drain backed up into the shower, the front desk didn't let us know that you have to resever the spa, the breakfast wasn't good, and they charged us twice for the room, had to fight with them to get my money back. Horrible experience!

Decent hotel near downtown Oberammergau
The hotel is located right next to downtown Oberammergau, so that was a plus. The staff was very friendly, but not very knowledgeable about the local area. I asked about local activities, and they suggested i either "walk by the river" or "go to a nearby gym." Strange, because the city's a tourist hotspot. Anyway, the room was very small, and the water pressure wasn't great. Also, i could never get the wifi to work.

Showed up - found easy / free parking immediately, greeted enthusiastically by front desk staff, went to room - nice big bed - terrace - flat screen tv.....nice breakfast in the morning......restaurant staff attentive....a great hotel!

Great Hotel in heart of the viliage
My 4th visit to OGAU and never had a bad stay, however, this hotel is in a great local with a fabulous breakfast, good dinner menu and a charming bar. Can walk everywhere. No need to drive. Superb service. Highly recommended.

very nice hotel
Everything was perfect for this hotel -the staff went out of its way to make your stay pleasent, for example even though we spoke litte Geman the restaurant staff made sure to find waitresses who spoke English to wait on us( a really nice touch) the location is excellant for what ever you want to do in the area and the is plenty to see and do. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Wir haben tolle Tage im Hotel Böld verbracht. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, für alle etwas dabei. Die Lage ist hervorragend, man ist zu Fuß schnell im Ortskern und es gibt tolle Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vom Hotel aus. Auch der Nahverkehr ist sehr gut ausgebaut. Mit der Gästekarte kann man den Bus kostenlos nutzen und hat auch sehr viele weitere Vergünstigungen. Alles in Allem ein toller erholsamer Urlaub. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Früshtück war sehr umfangreich und es gab sogar frisch gepresste Säfte.

Sauna ist nur nach voriger Reservierung nutzbar und dies dann nur für 1 Std. Stand vorher nicht in den Bestimmungen. Gläser verschmutzt beim Frühstückbuffet. Teller fehlten. Auswahl sehr Basic und dies lieblos präsentiert. Kaffee, Rühreier alles musste man nachfragen ob dies nochmal aufgefüllt wird oder ob man noch einen Kaffee bekommt. Das Hotel ist bei weitem aktuell nicht ausgebucht, so dass man es darauf abschieben könnte. Ja es ist schwierig aktuell das gewünschte Personal zu bekommen, aber man könnte es trotzdem bei weitem besser organisieren.
