The good: the house was very clean, and our grandkids and our dog enjoyed the grassy yard. The not-so-good: while the kitchen was lovely and had new appliances, you couldn't actually cook in there because were only two pots, a 2 1/2 qt pot and a 3 qt pot, and those didn't even have lids. No frying pans, no kettle, no spaghetti pot. No toaster! Two of the bedrooms only had overhead lights, so bring your own reading light if you like to read in bed. And bring your own Kleenex, too!We were told to bag up our trash and load and run the dishwasher before we left, but there were no trash bags and no dishwasher detergent provided. (Fortunately, I had some trash bags in the car.) And the trash cans were overflowing with the previous tenants' garbage, so there was no room for ours. Harprit responded curtly to my polite email asking for a lid for the pots, and didn't respond at all to a question about locking the gate. All in all, it was not the warm, homey, experience that I have come to expect from a rental.
