Welcome to The Grove! We are just steps from the beach (2-minute walk) and a 5-10 minute walk to a number of restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream, and even a new brewery! Our namesake Live Oak trees, porches, and sun room make The Grove a relaxing sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. The large front and back yards offer ample space to roam. You will find this to be a quiet and peaceful retreat for your family. Beach chairs, beach cart, and beach toys provided. Book The Grove today!

The house is single-story with an open and airy feeling. The main highlights of the space include heritage live oaks and a relaxing conditioned sun room on the back of the house. The house has been recently updated - including a new primary bathroom suite.

- There is a 55" ROKU TV in the living area and a relaxing sectional couch.
- The dining table seats six.
- There is an additional dining or work-space in the sun room. This room can be closed off to allow for remote work.

- Primary bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and a third has bunks, all of which are memory foam mattresses.
- The primary bedroom has an ensuite with walk-in shower. While functional, the shower and vanity in the master bathroom are on the smaller end.
- The primary is also outfitted with a 32”ROKU TV and all bedrooms have luggage racks and closets for use.

- There are front and rear decks with outdoor seating.
- A relaxing swing is located in the front yard.
- Peak-a-boo views of the ocean can be seen from the front yard.
- The backyard contains a fire pit for those cooler days -- or for those just wanting the experience.
- A gas grill is also provided.

A perfect beach rental!

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend at the beach! The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and so close to the beach and fun beach bars. We appreciated all the beach chairs and beach cart provided, the well stocked kitchen with all the essentials, and the outdoor shower to rinse off after returning from the beach. Oak Island is a gem among the NC beaches and this neighborhood was wonderful. Would absolutely book this place again!

OKI beach

We loved our stay at this home, just a block from the beach and walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and breweries. The kids loved the bunk beds and outdoor shower. Lots of beach supplies including chairs, toys and carts were provided. The kitchen is quite small (tight for 2 adults to be in there at the same time) but we managed. We would love to return sometime soon.

Beautiful home and property

This was a beautiful home and right off the beach! It was so nice to be just a couple min walk to the beach and the home had two outdoor showers which was so nice! The fire pit was one of our kids' favorite parts of the home, they loved making smores. We loved the proximity to restaurants and ice cream shops. Will be staying at this property again!

Location, location, location 😊

This is our favorite part of Oak Island, near th fishing pier, so it was perfect for us. The owner is incredibly gracious and easy to work with and the house was one of the best and thoughtfully stocked rentals we’ve ever experienced. Coffee, tea, sugar, spices, extra towels, TP and all paper products. The home is older but extremely well cared for and clean. We loved the back enclosed porch and fire pit. Thank you Wes for your hospitality! extremely clean and well cared for.

Peaceful and clean

We traveled with my parents and my two children. The house is in a quiet neighborhood just a block away from the ocean. Lots of activities within a 15 minute drive. The house was set up great for our family. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms nice. Lots of places to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for our meals. The yard and sun room were perfect for relaxing. We will be back.

Perfection!

We had a wonderful stay!! The house was nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. We especially enjoyed the back sunroom and the front porch. The house is a few minutes walk from the beach, which was fantastic for our sunrise/sunset walks and our beach days. The beach chairs were very much appreciated! Communication with the owner was quick and seamless. Thank you!!

Amazing home and so close to beach!

This home is perfect for me, my husband and two older children (not yet teenagers). The outdoor shower was my absolute favorite! Very quick walk to public beach access. And the backyard setup was perfect! We would hang out in the back around the fire pit (without a fire because it was hot outside) and the scenery and sounds were very relaxing! Definitely going back.

Adorable OKI House Close to Beach

We loved our stay at The Grove! The bedrooms were spacious and tidy with plenty of storage for suitcases and unpacking. We loved the sunroom and all the natural light this house provided. We travelled with 3 adults and a 9 month old baby, and had plenty of room (and quiet!) to accommodate everyone. Walking distance to beach access was an incredible perk. 10/10 would recommend!

Great stay at The Grove!

Clean, updated home in a perfect location! Just a short walk to the pier, coffee shop, and restaurants! The beach access is just at the end of the street, and a cart, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards are all provided! All of the beds are very comfortable, and communication with the host is excellent! Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay at The Grove!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Grove @OKI! The communication was top-notch, along with the home and location ❤️ We would definitely stay here again and not hesitate to recommend. Cozy and quiet

This house was perfect for our family of 6. I loved the fire pit, my husband loved the enclosed porch and our kids loved the outdoor showers. We were comfortable and the owners took a personal interest to make sure we were well cared for. Oak Island alone is fantastic, but having our own space to just relax in was icing on the cake. We would stay here again, overall an excellent experience.

Cozy beach cottage perfection!

Wow, where do I even begin by saying that this home is absolutely amazing! The design and decor is HGTV worthy in every aspect. We spent so much of our time on the enclosed back porch with the windows open while listening to the sound of the waves in the distance. The beach is only a 2 minute walk down the quiet street. In the evenings we sat around the stone fire pit underneath the most amazing trees on the property. Bring your firewood, because you’re really going to enjoy this one!! I could have slept out there every night. In the mornings, we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea bar that was stocked fully when we checked in. A 5 star experience is what we definitely got when we stayed here. Wes and Amanda were the most gracious hosts, and made sure that we were completely taken care of. I work in the travel industry, and this is by far one of the best rentals that I have stayed in. Book this property. I promise that you will not be disappointed! Many Thanks to Wes and Amanda! You’re fantastic!
