"What a strange place. Felt kind of shabby and unloved. Front desk unattended on several occasions. Staff slow and sometimes unhelpful. Hallway carpets scuffy. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was very good either. On the plus side, king balcony was large and had a nice lake view. Bed very comfortable and sheets were nice. I guess this is all you can hope for in such a small town? "

"Jim and Mona are the best host! They make sure you have what you need and always go above and beyond. The dog park is a great addition and so convenient. We love being able to walk to town and back. The dock has plenty of room to hang out and just relax in the water. It is covered so if you need to get out of the sun you are able too."

"House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back."

"If you read and loved the description of this place, you will, indeed, love this place. It's exactly what's advertised and it has been the perfect getaway for my husband and me twice now. Its a gorgeous location with ample fishing, reading, lazing opportunities. The cabin is adorable, the bed is comfy, the fire pit is awesome! There's so much to love about this place. "Our weekend at Little Piece of Paradise was perfect! The house is spacious and great for the 8 of us. We were so appreciative of Clayton’s flexibility with us, thanks for being so accommodating! "The house itself was great, well maintained, clean, everything worked. Working gas grill and firewood provided. The Internet service at the house was DSL, very slow. Had a hard time streaming music. The Lake would have some current at times, not all the time. And there was a day with a bit of an oil slick on the water, possibly dam related. We swam and paddle boarded and had a lovely time, nonetheless. We didn't have a boat, that might have been nice for the times when the current was there....

"Stayed 5 nights for a wedding at the state park. FANTASTIC house! Perfect hub for orchestrating the wedding of our son. Space galore. Never felt cramped. Multiple hangout places in the house and marvelous screened-in porch were perfect for small groups and the great room easily accommodated drop in visitors. Stunning property and wonderful views. Beautifully appointed and very well kept. Owners were gracious and prompt in communication. HIGHLY recommended😁"

"Beautiful home and nice and cozy. AC wasn't the best but it wasn't horrible. Nice place to enjoy a get away, even with the kids. Had a nice little yard and nice porch to sit and play on. beautiful area in general. May end up staying again in a few years if they are still renting out!"
