"This house was great for our trip and large group. One thing to bring that we didn’t have is kitchen towels. The hot tub was nice and we had everything else we needed. "

House was convenient to all of our adventures along NRGNP, parking and check in were easy, and we were provided with everything needed for our stay - the hosts even left us some snacks to enjoy after our long drive to WV! "We went to West Virginia mostly for white water rafting. This house was only 10 minutes away from Ace adventures. Loved the small yown. We enjoyed the house. The kids loved the game room and hot rub of course. I will say for future families, the doors do not lock. Not the bedroom or the bathroom, so bring a wedge if u and ur signifigant other want some privacy"

"We spent a week at the Saddleback Ridge retreat for a family of 7 vacation full of hiking and whitewater rafting. The location was perfect. The hosts had amazing and instantaneous communication with all questions. The game room, fire pit and hot tub were keys to staying entertained and having fun when at the house. "This home is as advertised and appeared newly renovated. Was beautifully done and had all the necessities provided (shower products, toilet paper, roll of paper towels, dish detergent and sponges, laundry detergent, trash bags and some spices. Host is communicative. Home is 10 minutes from New River Gorge visitors center and 30 minutes from Summerville Lake. "The house was in a convenient location on a dead end street. Accessible to wide variety of hiking spots and restaurants. The house was exactly as described & pictured with all the amenities you would expect. Fenced in back yard for our dog was helpful. Nicely furnished, two showers (one walk-in), kitchen had all we needed, filtered water, no steps inside. Just outside steps to porch for those that might need to know. "Our host was gracious and prompt with responses.The house was clean, modern, spacious. The game room and hot tub were a real hit with both kids and adults. The dining table seats 8 (our family size) comfortably, and it was so very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. Having an outdoor fire pit is a lovely idea, but the land is so slanted that we decided to give it a pass. Also, there is very little outside area where kids can play. However, I still rate it a 5 for other reasons."
