The place is bright, clean, cozy and has a nice open area where you can sit for coffee or a drink at night with large windows. The pool, sauna and Turkish bath is great and clean, just what is needed after a long day.

We asked the reception and they showed us we have booked a standard room and that room has no river view. So it is a wrong description on hotels.com's website. "Best location on Matosinhos. 1-minute walk to Sul Matosinhos metro, 5 minutes to the beach, and plenty of restaurants and good groceries around.
Chsrming property. The walls are pretty tin and staircase is squeaking a lot. temperature control goes random at time and door locks are tiny.

Poor nights sleep, had to get out the earplugs.There was no password available for the internet, very inconvenient for a transient traveler. Also, beware of metal bed frame, the corner got me! OUCH and hell, I need my knee for walking! Thank God there was an ice block in the freezer."
