We had an amazing and super relaxing stay. Everything we had hoped for and such a good set up for our dog too. Completely secure garden (we have a spaniel).
Everywhere we went throughout the stay and everyone was dog friendly, even the butchers in Aylsham who invited him in. Expect everyone to stop and chat to you and your dog.
The cottage was cozy and tranquil and we were provided with the most fabulous welcome hamper, tiger bread (one of our favourites), juice, milk. Cereal and...a bottle of prosecco (also one of our favourites). The dog had his own hamper too, which included treats, bowls, tags, towels, lead, toys.
The app had everything we needed. We used this to help plan trips out but also on our second to last day to find a vet (our dog went lame at the end of a beach walk, we used the app to find the closest vet to the beach we were at. The good news was he was 100% sound by the time we got to the vets).
One one day we left the car behind and walked Weavers Way to Blickling estate, then round Blickling Park and then to Aylsham. Highly recommend this walk and Blickling Park. Aylsham is lovely too, we were very lucky as it was their Christmas light switch on. We then got a taxi back to the cottage, our hot tip is, if you need a taxi book in advance as we nearly had to walk back from Aylsham in the dark (approx an hours walk).
Our favourite beach was Wells, such a large oien expanse of sand, ideal spaniel space.
