"Difficult review to write
The staff was excellent with me, very pleasant and accommodating
The reason for my poor review is the location of the hotel situated directly beside the train tracks and crossing.
Our first night 3 trains came by the hotel from 12:30am to 6:00am, each one blowing their whistle at the crossing waking us up.
This happened almost every night at least one train after midnight waking us up.
The other issue was the hotels policy NOT to clean the rooms daily.

"This hotel is in need of a complete remodel and even with that they fell short having clean rooms. There was garbage in each drawer, stains on mattress and furniture and walls. "The hotel appeared to be under construction, with yellow tape hanging everywhere. The front desk sells snacks but didn't take cash (and was a bit rude about it). The gym has no sauna and the hot tub isn't very hot.
The breakfast was great and the room was clean. It's right across from the Mayo Clinic, a convenient walk across the street."

"The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were cozy. The waterslide was a huge hit with my granddaughter. Couldn't keep her out of the pool! The only thing that was an issue was the ice machines were out of ice most of the time. We had to go from machine to machine just to get a full bucket.
